Rebecca,
The refund policy listed on the enrollment agreement must read Word for Word the same as outlined in the catalog.

Eduardo ,
Converting those leads to starts is all about the enrollment process. Often times you have numerous leads that never culminate into the student starting at your school.
Patty Aronoff
Danielle,
An exciting day when this happens! Officially accepted status means that the student has signed the paperwork and is ready to start.
Patty Aronoff
Eduardo ,
Start means when the student actually starts school and begins attendance. Some schools require students attendance for so many consecutive days on the first week of school.
Patty Aronoff
Patrick,
The catalogue along with the enrollment agreement once signed by all parties constitute the contract between the student and the school. Financial aid is best explained by the subject matter experts.

GETA,
All good things! Providing a thorough and informative overview of your school creates the relationship that will follow through to graduation. You are what you claim to be.
Patty Aronoff
Alejandro ,
Well stated! The terms that we use every day in our encounters with students are referenced back in the catalog as well as in the regulations.
Patty Aronoff
Viviana,
Excellent! You have stated the terms with in-depth meaning. The enrollment agreement along with the catalog constitute the contract with the student.

Admissions comments must match whatever is stated in the catalog to be of the upmost compliance.
Words commonly used during the admission process are as follows: tuition, refund policy, enrollment agreement, enrollment, withdraw , procedure and program.
I totally agree with Patty. I believe that as long as your career demands you to get an Education it is imperative for the prospective student to seek guidance from Admissions Representatives, and choose the right program.
Some of the common terms used during the admissions process are: Lead, Start, and enrollment.
Enrollment which means when the student has officially accepted status as an enrollee at my institution.
Lead: the prospective student information sent from an outside vendor to our Institution.
Presentation: The display of the Admissions process details along with the features and benefits that the Institution offers.
My question is the following:
How does an Institution defines the term "Start"?
The most common term and definition that we use are: Enrollment Agreement - A legally binding contract that is signed by applicants to licensed institutions as well as by authorized personnel at the institution.
Title IV funds - The federal allocation of funds for postsecondary education.
We discuss the enrollment agreement with applicants who would like to move further with their application process. We only tell students that we have Title IV funding along with financial aid for students that qualify. Financial aid officers cover that topic in detail.
Some of the terms and definitions commonly used at my institution during our enrollment session emanate from the questions asked by our future students. Questions on whether our institution is accredited. We discuss the enrollment agreement and the enrollment process. Students inform us during our admissions process about how they learnt about us thereby giving validation to our advertising and marketing outreach activities. We discuss the scholarship program in place and also outline the fact we are governed by the rules and regulation of the Florida Commission for Independent Education. We outline the programs that are available and discuss the degree to be achieved.
some of the terms and definitions used are enrollment agreement (legally binding contract), transfer credits (classes being transferred from a school), applicaiton process (steps to qualify to get accepted in the University), program (a group of courses taken), regulations (rules the institution must abide by to retain its licensure approval), scholarships (a grant ina id to a student).
Commonly used terms are: Marketing, Lead and Enrollment Agreement.
We know the importance of promoting an institution. If we familiarize ourselves with all the advertisement, we have a greater chance in converting the lead to an actual prospect student!
Enrollment Agreement is a very commonly used term at our Institution. We go in depth analyzing the biding contract with the student, we want to make sure our Institution’s policies and regulations are clearly understood so the student sees that we have an honest and equitable conduct.
Colette,
We like when they transition. It indicates that we have a student who is ready for school.

Hi Patty,
We use the terms:
prospect-to refer to a student exploring joining our program.
applicant-to refer to someone who has completed our application process.
student-when they have accepted our offer to join and made their deposit.
Thank you,
Colette Feldges
