Michelle ,
Keep revisiting the materials and add or delete as necessary. The importance of the notebook is to have it current and use often!

Lissette,
Well stated! The rules protect us all. They are the best path to follow and our guiding force when in question.

In my school we have created folders with tabs and have a copy for each one involved in admissions and there is one person assigned to update the info for everyone
I have a folder specific for FAPSC training, a policy & procedure along with regularly used reports, etc. and a third binder that is just for the comapany's best practices.
I have compiled the links provided in the training course and have compiled a Resource Notebook to continue to put in the required documents and any other pertinent information needed, and anything that I know I will use to conduct my job.
Through the process of writing our school catalog I became aware of the strict parameters set forth by the CIE. These rules serve to protect both the student and the educational provider. The more information you provide your customer the better prepared they will be as a student. In addition, you establish a foundation of trust when there is straight-forward information rather than sales tactics. I find that by being an organized admission representative, it suits the needs of the student as well as the integrity of the institution itself.
We have created a resource notebook and plan to add dividers so that it is easily accessible.
I have folder with different information listed that has to do with certain paperwork for students, my involvement is making sure that all student file are completely in order, all signatures and paperwork are fill completly and delivered to the Registrar Office in a timely manner
Parish,
Ir's a great idea. Gives you talking points and reminders to keep within dealines.

Parish,
Dividing tabs and color coding is a great way to stay organized. You can quickly access the material when you need it. You'll go right to it because you build it.

Tony,
Being compliant and following the rules is a great feeling. We know when it is right.
Patty Aronoff
Beth,
Frequently asked questions is a great way to track your interview and also provide a training tool for others. Some schools even publish heir FAQs.

In addition to the calendar information we currently have in our catalog.
I really like the idea of having the "calendar outlined†in the catalog.
I am going to implement each course starting and ending date on the calendar for our prospective students to view.
I have added all additional paperwork from this course to our admissions blinder along with dividing taps of category.
I used a binder. Used section dividers, and highlighted every tab. So far, I have all the information that has been discussed in this course and this has made me feel more secure and informed about the school where i work.
