Programs offered at your school?

What programs are offered at your school and how will you learn about the jobs students train for?

maria,

Excellent! Check out your Career Services Department for more information on possible careers.

We offer several different programs here. I refer to the catalog, our website and speak to trainers to get a better idea of what the students train for.

Tim,
Very exciting! The program sounds very specialized and product knowledge would certainly be in order.

Patty Aronoff

Christopher,
The two fold approach to product knowledge is a best practice. Having the depth of knowledge makes the program more valuable.

The Dolphin Research Center offers the Marine Mammal Behavior, Care and Training (MMBCT) program through the College of Marime Mammal Professionals (CMMP). I am learning about the program and the college by reviewing (and, in some places, refining) the College Catalog. I am also speaking with various members of the College campus.

We primirarly offer medical programs (LPN, MA, MBC, etc) and some business programs. The college does a great job of keeping us informed not only about the programs but the jobs that at offered as well. This is done through monthly product knowledge meetings. Once, sometimes twice a month, Several Program Directors will host the meeting to discuss program (how its setup, changes that are coming and the types of jobs that are out there.)

Ronald,

You will be amazed at what you will learn. Having that personal experience makes a huge difference.

Allied Health and Nursing program., What I will do to learn more about the program is study the course descriptions and ask questions about the program to the instructors. And also see about sitting in a class or two.

Charles,
These are very important departments to interact with as they are integral to student success.

We currently have BSN, RN, and PN programs. Learning about these programs in an ongoing process from the information I receive from the Program Director for Nursing as well as the Campus Administrator.

We offer a nursing program and keep current in the community by attending meetings that include many areas of health care.

We offer Medical, Business, IT, Massage, and Cosmo related programs. To learn about each one I studied the catalog and course work for each program. I also viewed several classes to get an overview. We also have each program director do quarterly Product Knowledge on their program to keep us up to date any changes.
