Sianna,

Another suggestion would be to get out in the community and visit with potential employers. Attend the PAC meetings and connect there.

My school offers CMA, Health Information Management, Insurance coding and Billing, PTA, RT, ST, and Nursing. The school also offers busines and technology programs via online delivery. I can speak with instructors and peruse industry sites to learn more about each area.

Our school offers many degree programs where students can earn either their bachelors or associates degree. Our programs include: electrical engineering technology, network systems administration, business administration, nursing, and more. To learn about the fields / courses, it is important to visit classrooms, visit employers, speak with career services, etc. It is best to keep informed using as many legal resources as possible.

How do others learn about the jobs that students train for?

The Associate Degree programs currently offered at my school are Network System Administration, Electrical Engineering Technology, Business Management, Drafting & Design Technology, Criminology & Forensic Technology and Nursing. The Bachelor's Degree Programs offered are Project Management & Administration, Information Systems & Cybersecurity and Eletrical Engineering & Communications Technology. The Dept. Chairs, Career Services and the web page for Bureau of Labor Statistics have been very helpful in learning about the jobs students train for.
