The CIE acts as a watchdog agency that regulates our daily business operations to promote fair practices and insure all applicants are treated equally. By doing so it helps institutions reduce or eliminate recruiting malpractice that can literally put any institution out of business and destroy the hopes and dreams of many students. In addition by Admissions Representative following the CIE rules and regulations, it gives our institutions the confidence of doing the right thing and reduces the concerns of illegal or inappropriate conduct.
We offer programs for english and spanish speakers related to health care field... It is true that only spanish-speaker students face limitations due to the fact that most businesses require fluency in english but discovered that for bi-lingual students this is in fact a comparative advantage

The CIE is very similar to our accrediting agency and my director/owner is always on top of it. It is mandatory to maintain the level of excellence you portray your school to have.
I personally make it my business to be aware of current salaries, growth and potential for all areas of emphasis we offer. I do this by checking the Bureau of Labor Statistics, as well as the Occupational Outlook Handbook monthly. In addition, I consistently read articles regarding the growth rates. When I meet with a potential student, I try to be as informed as possible about their future career. Furthermore, I always cite the sources for my information and explain where they can get it for themselves. I find this eases the future student. Information and knowledge is key to being a successful Admissions Rep.
I always suggest to students that they check with someone who works in the field that they want to study and work, and ask them about the salary and cap and how long it takes to reach that cap. I also suggest that they ask that person what they like about their job and how intersting is the job.

We have to be careful regarding salary's information. Due to the changes of Health care, salary's ranges cannot be accurate. Even though is one of the requirements by CIE, we as the institution must limit ourselves regarding such information.
