We do weekly meetings at the school as well as different webinars and online trainings to get additional exposure and knowledge about how to most effectively perform in my job while still mantaining compliance.
We have two regular weekly meetings. One of which consists of just the advisors and management. The other meeting is with everyone that is employed by the school - instructors, management, placement directors, student services, ect; We utilize this meeting to keep abreast of what is going on in the school week by week.
I attend meeting that focus on how to be an effective admissions representative, how to deal with student objections, institution tours, how to present information about my institution successfully to others, how to determine if the students meet admission requirements, personal motivation, and how to properly complete forms and the enrollment agreement.
Our institution has a large number of meeting for each department. Also, a number of meetings are held with representatives across departments. The representatives then come back and share during our department meetings. we are encouraged to attend a variety of meetings. Some are public and we can attend while others are y invitation only. Everyone tries very hard to share and keep all of us up to date.
I am new to the education system and if anyone has any information that they can pass along that I may need to know I would greatly appreacite it. I am coming in to a new management team and want to make sure we don't miss anything.

The commission meeting will be a requirement, inside meeting at the institution and networking with other school employees will also give some info as well.
We have meetings within our company, we have had instructors teach us a class or two in order to know it better.
I am required to attend several meeting a month in my position. One is a Module Managers meeting which encompasses updates to university systems. Others are weekly student services meetings, faculty meetings, student-director meetings just to stay abreast in all areas of the university and its functions.
