My plan is to meet with the various department directors or their subordinates to aquire any missing information and to meet regularly to ensure that I have information that is current.
things can go about at a hectic pace so there is a potential occasionally to miss something. Regular meetings are held at campus to ensure we address changes made and incorporate them in our representations to the public.
I have added a monthly appointment to my calendar, which directs me to check the web site for new/updated information.
Our Company does an excellent job of keeping us informed of changes. We have been experiencing lots of changes with the new regs to make sure everyone is in compliance. We have monthly meetings with our team and bosses. Every employee has access to something called "Inside Track", which is a company based website and gives important information on each department, each campus, tuition costs, employment stats, etc. I will also continue to visit the campuses I enroll for to keep knowledgable of any changes and to know the campus staff.
I plan to review the rules and regulations of the OSBCSC in further depth to ensure we are up to date and are not missing vital information.
CContinuous training and checklists will hep reps stay organized.
I printed out the Resource Notebook Checklist which has all the weblinks which will serve as my resource for keeping up to date. It will definitely be a regularly scheduled task and incorporated into directors meetings and, of course, training sessions.
I will check the website often for updates as well as talk to the other reps, they are always a great resource for answers.
Any changes made to our documents, I will address immediately so that I do not use a form that is not accurate. I will update my filling cabinet and recycle any old copies so that I don't accidently use them.
We have meetings/ training twice a week, every week to keep us up to date on changes happening at our campus. I think it is important to know all there is to know about your school so you can relay the information to the prospective students accurately. When we have new programs at the school, I research each program and get as much information as I can on them. I keep all information in a binder so I can easily access it to show potential students.
It is important to read the catalog and the addendum, every time a new one is printed and distributed. Also, it is important to thoroughly read new ads or promotion materials to ensure that you are current with the school's program and requirements. Lastly, make sure you read the application before you explain it to the student, along with the enrollment agreement, so that you can be abreast of any changes that were made and to make sure the student is clear on everything.
We have what we call stand-ups weekly. It is away for the heads of all the departments to tell us what is happening our changing in regards to education. Its aways changing so there is always info to share.
I am very impressed with the website in general and am genuinely interested in it's content. I'd personally prefer to be kept in the loop and i think that this will help immensley.
Our school keeps up to date by regularly checking the Ohio Board websites and having periodic meetings. We talk daily and share any new information we may have received.
I agree with you, Joy! Communication is key to any department's success because it eliminates any misconceptions or questions.
When changes are made it is best to update our records immediately. Get into the habit so that you do not forget later on.
We too have weekly meetings and are updated on any changes.
I plan on regularly checking for new policies and regulations through my school and through state.
I keep updated by keeping track of questions that I have during the course of a week and asking these questions to my manager during out weekly meetings.
The best way to keep up to date with any changes is through the schools website. That is what I use, along with any information passed along to us through management. Lately the news has also been a good source of information.
