I feel like this course was a big help in what I need to keep updated with being a rep and also how I can stay organized in order to continually become better as a rep. Also I really liked all of the information given and how it suggested to keep everything a rep needs in a notebook so they can stay on top of the game.
I agree, every day there is something new to learn or a change that everyone needs to be made aware of.
At first, it did seem like a lot to get down and master, but now that I am a week and a half into training it seems way easier than it did before. Once you look over the information and get it down, you never forget it. Of course, there will be new and improved info but I think with the help of our resource notebook it will be east to get to and relay to prospective students.
I have never worked as an Agent before, so now that I have almost finished this course, I feel a lot more comfortable moving forward with the knowledge from this course than I did before I started. I feel as long as I keep up to date on all of the necessary information, it won't be too difficult.
Things change monthly i agree its important to be up to date on rule changes
I was able to build on what I already know from my training and found this course to be very helpful.
I have worked in admissions before and this agent requirement was not necessary to be an admissions rep for the school. I received guidelines from my supervisor but no course. I do think that it was helpful especially the option to have the material read to you. I plan on making my resource notebook and keeping it updated.
I feel more prepared after the courses. Everyone learns differently.Mixing up the methods really help me absorb more.
This course is very informative. I like the techniques that are recommended on how to keep an update resource manual to going over the rules and regulations to advising on how to be successful as an agent. I feel empowered!
I am feeling more confident about how I will be able to perform my job with the knowledge I have learned from this course.
Of course it is important to realize that the Admissions field is always changing and it is incredibly important to keep up in order to ensure that we are giving the best information to our students.
A decent amount of this course was repetitive to our school's Admissions training, but I suppose I am grateful that our training was so comprehensive, because now I feel like I am fully prepared to be an Assistant Director of Admissions.
I feel agents have a very vital role in a college. They must pay very close attention to detail and be able to adapt well to change! The college industry is a very fast paced cahnging environment!
I could not agree more with your response. Being and admissions rep is a constant learning process.
It is critical that individuals, as well as the institution, are on top of the requirements.
J.R.,
This is true. The Board has just recently implemented training for the agents.

It is nice being able to take this course and not only learn what some rules and expectaitons are, but it is a great guidlin for if we have future questions. It seems as though some regulations change frequently. It is helpful knowing that and that we wil need to aways stay up to date on these.
Like any position, there will always be requirements that you have to meet. I think that what is required of us is very reasonable. I just started last week and my thoughts and feelings I have had throughout this course haven't changed much. It is all very straight forward and clear.
There were no surprises but I am feeling more confident! This course really helped with highlighting what is important!
The agents requirements are some what different now versus when I first started in the industry. There seem to be more exams and trainings required.
I am feeling much more confident about the policies and procedures that have ben covered in the past sections. I enjoyed reading and rereading over the specific terms. Now I feel much more knowledgeable.
When I started I thought there would be training requirements my employer would keep me updated on when I needed to take them. Now that I am almost complete I know I am going to have to put more effort than I expected. I can't just rely on my director to tell me what requirements I need to do.
