I learned something new

I learned a lot of information on how to handle my students. It motivated me more.

ED 101

Great information for new teachers. It outlines what needs to be done to prepare for the first class meeting, and discusses how to make class successful.

I never knew..or did I?.

I was pleased to learn of several new ways to motivate my student to learn. I thought the small group idea was tops. I vaguely remember this from a college class in communication. I'm glad for the timely reminder!

I learn something new

when I went over to 105 course material I realize every day activity I use most of these information.. But I found out also new things that I never took at that direction. I strongly belive it will improve my teaching ability.

ED101

ED 111 Implementing Active Learning

With the various age ranges in my classes, implementing active learning allows the students to engage in both critical and analytical thinking with one another and with the various ages, Active learning does not descriminate.   With out even thinking about it, the students engage their piers, and what I have noticed is that everyone is more successful in the long run.

Classroom retention

MAKE IT INTERESTING SO THEY CAN PUT WHAT YOU ARE TEACHING INTO PRACTICE,  IN NURSING IT ALL STARTS TO INTERLINK AND THEY CAN BEGIN TO SEE HOW THEY USE THE DIFFERENT AREAS AND HOW THE NURSING PROCESS BEGINS TO APPLY.

Med Term

ED104

Students with learning disorders

Enjoyed it.  nicely done

104

104 was very informative. I started a new class and already using some of the strategies I learned. My class syllabus had homework assignment due dates underlined or boxed in so as to capture the students attention, and stand out on the paper. In the process currently of learning all the names of my students.

ED 107

Lots of information, this one took a little bit longer, but learned alot, will reccomend to others.

ED105

Excellent reminder that we aren't in class to teach "ourselves". I realize that everyone has the potential to learn, just in their own way. ED105 really allowed me to step outside myself, and keep my priorities in check. The more students I can reach, the better the entire learning experience. Really looking forward to ED106! - Dallan

ED108

Very illuminating course into how the brain accepts, processes, and stores information.  However, it's not just about that; applications of methods tailored to how the brain does this also are included in this course.  It's a fascinating subject; how people actually learn things, and this course definitely helps to illustrate that.

Nice class

I have taken this course a few years ago, but the information provided is relevant to any Instructor. Being able to identify what type motivator your student is useful because we are better able to relate to and help our students acheive their goals. I use autonomy a lot in the classroom without realizing it, I like to give my students choices and it helps the rapport I have with the students.

ED 103

I found the class informative.  Appropriate testing is critical to accurate assessment of learning.  This class has helped me in determing what is appropriate for my classes.  Thanks

Courses

These courses are valuable tools as they often remind me of something I need to be doing or teach me something I am not doing and it shows me how and why it would be effective.

ED101

This course outlined information that was easy to understand and implement in the classroom. Learning how to project a professional and polished persona to students is crucial for students to have respect and confidence in us.
