"Apply Content to Classroom Reality"

I feel that what this course has offered that we as educators apply the true realities that take place in the workplace dynamics. People seem to want the truth and realism in life and we are the only real entity that can make a difference in the world and life. It is my desire as an instructor to keep growing, learning, developing and achieving day in an day out. Some things must maintain the quality, truth, integrity and purety in order for this society to stand, and education is the key to that success of a system that seems to… >>>

ED 101

After forty years as a professional educator, it was refreshing to renew skills and validate practices that I have used in a variety of instructional settings.  All of my teaching experiences have been with the traditional public school students.  Now that I am an instructor of non-traditional, adult learners, I have learned to modify my instructional preparation, content/skill delivery and student engagement practices.

ED 105

Ed 105 is a very practical course. I have learnt a lot. There are many excellent ideas outlined in the course such as inviting guest speakers and planning field trips, etc.  Other suggestions are also very helpful too such as limiting no more  than five points per slide in PPT presentation, and giving a new version of test/exam for students who are absent. In all, this is a wonderful course.

Educating the educator

I enjoy the content in the Max Knowledge courses.  As educators we must always stay fresh so that our presentation does not become stale and useless. Even though some of the content may be review, it is good to refresh ourselves so that we keep the main thing, the main thing.  It is my desire that others are getting as much out of this as am I.

The course is especially helpful because it not only identifies the ten most important soft skills for instructors but also discusses applications of these skills to the role of the instructor.
