Most continuing education and career enhancement workshops and conferences cost a great amount. Who is expected to pay registration fees, the attendee out of his/her pocket or the college? Bear in mnd that many instructors at career colleges are adjuncts and receive modest pay. Is there a standard for conference fee payments in the career college field?

Note cards

I really liked the idea of having students write down their questions on note cards during the lecture. By collecting the cards at "break time" and reviewing them, I could be better equipped at answering questions when class resumes. I also think this would be helpful for students who may be a bit shy about asking questions.
