It is important because you want to reach out to all of your students. Making sure your lesson has a varied approach and a presentation that hits all the learning styles marks the difference between a ho-hum lesson and one the students all remember! This requires more work on your part but you can also look forward to more participation from your class - and that’s what teaching is all about.
By providing different approaches and resources for students with different learning styles will lead to better learning and will build each students strengths.
It will make the information easier for them to understand and will also keep them interested in a topic.

Different students prefer to learn in different styles, by providing approaches and resource that complement the learning style of your students you provide more opportunities for the students to learn and also may help them to see how their classmates use different styles to learn.
using a lot of different resources and styles of presenting information insures that you are reaching every learner in his or her learning style at least part of the time.

It is extremely important to provide approaches and resources that complement the learning styles of students. It helps the students to retain the information you are presenting. I strive to make sure I include various teaching modalities during each class period. I always start with a lecture including a powerpoint presentation with pictures and diagrams. I provide everyone with a copy of the lesson and I try to incorporate hands on practice when applicable.
By using learning styles that complement the students they will retain more knowledge. It will also help them feel more comfortable in the classroom.
It is important to provide approaches and resources that complement the learning styles of my students to make sure that the learn the material in the best way possible for them. If I use a learning style that is not the best way for them to learn, then they may become frustrated and not learn the material at all.
