Instructors who try and controll every facet of the classroom will have a different time with the adult and younger students. Good Rapport is a key to success as an Instructor.
Effective class management is very important. The instructor who is viewed as helpful by the students will have a better classroom dynamic. I try to greet each student before every class and let them know I am available after class if they have any questions regarding the materail.

In my experience, class management can be as important as the teaching of the curriculum itself. When a classroom is disorganized and out-of-control, it is difficult for much learning, if any, to take place. As instructors, we must lay out our plan, objectives, and expectation for the class at the beginning and emphasize them throughout the course.
Class management can be challenging. ED 104 presented all students I have in my class this term. I found the course quite informational. I have the cheating, now angry student, because since he got caught cheating is now failing. The silent student but is now participating in class and talks to me a lot more. The student who is having challenges with the English language and would not speak. She now is speaking in front of the class, although she does struggle I try to encourage her every step of her journey. I am most proud of how far she has come since the beginning. My talkers who are always trying to get me off course, sometimes I too can stray off the main road. I do my best by giving them interesting videos, fun in class assignments, but mostly I let them know I am available if they need help.
Class management skills are the tools that help me move from the SME to the IDE. More skills equal more effective learning. Class management effectively becomes your map to successful implementation of your educational plan. Like so many journeys, with a good map you will find many different routes to your final destination.
Each student is unique. They will progress at their own pace, all ready for new challenges and to learn new skills but not necessarily the same rate. A full toolbox of class management skills, just like the toolbox I use in my trade will never be complete and that's a good thing!

Class management is very important because without it, we can teach the students. if students are making noise and arguing, there is no way that an Instructor can teach the class, so class management is very vital.
Develop a set of written expectations you can live with and enforce.
Be consistent. Be consistent. Be consistent.
Be patient with yourself and with your students.
Make parents your allies. Call early and often. Use the word "concerned." When communicating a concern, be specific and descriptive.
Don't talk too much. Use the first 15 minutes of class for lectures or presentations, then get the kids working.
Break the class period into two or three different activities. Be sure each activity segues smoothly into the next.
Begin at the very beginning of each class period and end at the very end.
Don't roll call. Take the roll with your seating chart while students are working.
Keep all students actively involved. For example, while a student does a presentation, involve the other students in evaluating it.These are the goals I set for me and my students. Planning and being prepare helps with the educational process of learning!

Very few students can teach themselves. Structure is the essence of a good class, and management means determining the activity, the time allotted and objectives within the lesson. Unstructured students may not be able to gain the objective and lose valuable time. This is how a work environment would run as well, with a managed time and objective to reach the goal of successful business operations. Follow the leader who sets examples and then guides the outcome. Plan to learn use a plan, plan ahead. education is planning but the map to success has to be managed.

A side benefit of proper class management is that an instructor has a better sense of the class timing: lectures, discussions, presentations, etc.
An instructor who has a firm grasp of class management can better plan the curriculum for the course.
Class room management provide a basis for teachers to plan and organize classroom activities
and behaviors. It also has a affect on teacher
development and other factors that influence management skill to control the class room.
Class management is very important because it shows professionalism and shows control. Students need to see that the class is organized and on a schedule.
I think that there is a direct correlation between proper class management and successful execution of an educational plan. With proper management of a classroom and the behaviors and nuances within, the educational planning and subsequent completion of the educational plan will ensure success for the student and the instructor.

Students need to know about the rules on Day 1. A strong presence has to be made from the instructor on Day 1 that foolishness is not going to be tolerated.
