I have learned the improtance of consistency not only of style and format, but of workload each module delivers. For the sake of the students in my courses, I will be working on this type of pacing so not to surprise anyone with overwhelming amounts of work as they move from module to module.

I'm also now planning on buiding a library of learning objects that I can use in various related courses I teach.

Consistency in template is critical to consistency in learning.

Consistency for the sake of the students, and ultimately ourselves, is very important. And the reminder that fonts and formats should be used appropriately.

I have learned how to effectively approach online teaching from a student centered forcus.  I better understand this plateform should be consistant, utilizing colors to symbolize a specific forcus in the learning. The layout should be consistant, each module having a discussion board, assignment, assessment, etc.  I also learned to too much of a good thing is not good, for example, video shoukd be used only when needed and should not be too long (no longer than 5-10 minutes) due to student tend to loose focus.  I also better understant that content can be in many form and should be conducive to all learning style.  Most important about content that it should met learning objective of course.

I also learn that navigaion is of each module should be relatively easy.  The content should make sense to the student and enhance learning.  I learned that creating a learning object database will make it easy for myself as Instructor to access needed learning tools to place in module.  the object database is needed when the information will be used more then once in the course.  The objective database can be shared between instuctors.  I learn that object database my be created, maybe provided by the school, may come will course books and can come from social media.

I plan to utilize what I have learned for my online class.  In Respiratory Therapy, we are going to a blended learning platform.  This will help me to ensure that our modules are student centered.  I will beable to look at each module to ensure consistancy and learning objectives are being met.

I plan to incorporate/use more videos to explain complex concepts. The key will be to utilize videos that are the proper length as to not lose the audience.

Learning objects may be developed by the institution, but are also available as add-on components to most e-texts. Students benefit greatly within an online learning environment when consistency is imparted.

Ease of navigation and consistency enhances learning.

The creation and testing process is a cyclical and ongoing process.

consistency in many forms is the key to success. consistency can be accomplished in many ways.

Beign consistant with building modules. Keeping modules in the same format. Testing the module before studente use the module

This last section is a reminder to change things up yet keep them consistent to promote student engagement and learning.

What i learned is that consistency throughout the course is key.

I learned how important  is to develop consistent course content for the improvement of student's performance.

Consistency is pretty much the key to succesful course development. Its helps Instructors and Students alike facilitating the design of the course and delivery of the material, improving the user experience of the students. This is especially important under an online environment.

This is the first time I have had confirmation that it is important to review online material from a student's perspective.  I've been trying to do this for years, but have found it impossible witout the IT department's help.  It is necessary to request access to the student point of view in order to assess, and correctly deomonstrate, the student perspective to online coursees.

Most important message; consistency and develop templates to assist with term by term development

Being consitant with the course setup for the students.

Tihs module has given me the insight to better develop an online learning platform for my students. It has taught me that I must develop a framework, understandable and clear learning objectives, testing my module before I puty it into use.

It is critical that the learning process is transparent and student-centred.

We really don't have the permission to alter course content, but it needs to be repaired and brought into 2020 badly
