I agree. That is why due diligence is so important. Everyone must be held accountable to comply with policies and procedures at all times.
Career Services, tuition, admission process, accreditation
The definitions commonly used during an admission process are: enrollment agreement, accreditation, institution, post secondary, program, scholarship, rules, regulations and title IV.
From the minute we meet with an interested party, we have to make sure we can provide the right program to that student, followed with a detailed interview, explanation of their program as well as the schedule and not to forget clear definition of what FAFSA is about, obey all rules pertaining to titleIV funded school in order to guide a student with accuracy and give them all the necessary tools not only to enroll but to graduate and assist their job search, providing student with a good ROI (return of investment).
Accreditation, enrollment versus registration, term versus semester.
At the moment I am still creating a resource notebook but I found the suggestions and forum commentary helpful. I am still quite new to my position and much of the information I need to know (eg. the financial aid details) are ones I need to know better. This resource notebook is exactly the kind of manual/resource that I love to work with and I am excited about making my own much more comprehensive.
Renee,
We always need to approach our interactions with integrity and honesty. If we do, there should never be noncompliance.
As long as one performs their due diligence there shouldn't be too many surprises.
Vincent,
Thank you for your post.
Dahlia,

JUDY ,
Advertisements or ad slicks are a great way to connect with your prospective students. Catch the same fever that brought them to you!
Gail,
True! Agents work outside the institution and are authorized to conduct business representing the school.
Jenna,
You are off to a great start! Keeping compliant is essential and the notebook will be your guide.
Nelson,
It is interesting that you use Letter of Agreement which signifies an enrollment agreement.
LATOSHA,
Excellent! Students need to be well informed before signing.
David,
Thank you for your post!
Patricia,
The way your school uses the terms says so much about your mission and goals.
