Yezid,

Great start! Continue to add additional material that will assist you in your position.

Patty Aronoff

Yezid,

The material needs to e current and when contents change, proper training is provided.

I have created an admissions training folder/binder which will have all the necessary documents in this labelled binder.

I have printed the Florida CIE rules, regulations, and statutes from the fldoe website. I have started printing out the Enrollment Agreements and have some marketing material. I have requested a copy of our school catalog, standards of licensure and Accreditation manual.

I have created an organized folder.By doing this i can go into the folder an review information step by step.

I'm printing off the materials, and placing the rules and regulation in a binder with divider tabes, and sheet holders. There is a section for rules, regulations, programs and enrollment agreenments. Again, I will purge the folder and take out the general information documents. I will place these in a separate folder.

Hi Patty,
I feel that our institution has done a very good job with making sure that we organize the paperwork well. One of those ways to ensure that we submitting the right paperwork is that a majority of the paperwork we submit is electric. The students are e-signing the documents. Plus, we are submitting the paperwork to an admission department. The look over everything to ensure that everything we need for the student is there and accounted for. It there is anything additional that is needed they inform us and before the student can be admitted we need to obtain what is needed. Sort of a check and balances system.

I make copys of all the paperwork and keep a file on each one of my students.

I have a binder with the diferents modules separately to have an easy acces to these information.

We have a binder to and we update it every month.

Megan,
Good deal! Make sure to update both editions when making changes to your material.

Greg,
Excellent! Consider adding frequently asked questions to your materials.

Patty Aronoff

Jennifer,
Colored tabs makes for easy access. We relate to not only position but also to color for adding meaning.

Patty Aronoff

Shanna,
Good partnership! This will reinforce what you have learned.

Patty Aronoff

Carol,

Make sure to discuss any changes with the director. It helps to be able to ask questions to ensure full understanding.

Patty Aronoff

Brittany,
The best of both worlds! I also like the physical binder so I can write notes in the papers.

Patty Aronoff

I will keep both a physical folder and an electronic folder so keep myself organized.

I have made electronic versions of the important training documentation, and arranged by Module and Topics in an e-folder for quick reference at my office. I plan to upload this file to a cloud drive, so I can access and review (any non-proprietary information) remotely if necessary.

Of course, I have a plastic binder with separate folders for portable printed material of the same information.

So far I have the following:

Terms and Definitions
Institution Catalog
Standard Enrollment Agreement
Marketing Materials
Student Policies & Procedures Manual
Employee Handbook
Organizational Chart
Gainful Employment & Potential Careers Information
Accreditation Information (HLC, CIE, etc)

I have also copied the FL Administrative Commission Code 6E Rules and all the forms that pertain to them.

I have put together a resource notebook that has dividers and color taps so that I can easily access to what I look for.

I have created a notebook and printed all of the material. I am also printing all of the regulation paperwork. As a backup, I have saved the information in a word document. I am completing this training with a co-worker so we are also giving each other feedback.
