I have created a binder as well. Our director pf compliance also keeps us updated on any changes that occur

I have a physical binder and a online folder with the same topics including: Polices & Rules, Product Knowledge, Scheduling & Interviewing, and Performance and Other Forms. This helps me because if I happen to lose the file on my computer I also have a physical binder with the same information.

Leonard,

You have a good plan in place. Keep gathering information and developing a bank of information and resources.

Checklists are great for organizing, quick reference and compliance. It is required by regs that every student receive a copy of the catalog. They are signing an enrollment agreement that states so.

Leonard,
We should be reaching for the notebook at any time. It's a great resource, rain or shine.

Linda,

Student records must be kept in perpetuity according to rule. If the school closes operations, the records are to e turned over to the Commission.

Elizabeth,
Great job! Using the regs to review the school documents is the best way to understand the regulations. Direct application of their meaning reinforces the spirit of the law.

Admissions training requires reading and understanding lots of information. I have compiled information provided to me during training and I have it stored online as well as in a physical notebook. As I receive additional information I will continue to add to my notebook.

I have it all organized in a recourse folder with dividers.

This is super important because they are used as tools to make your job easier and also gives you a guideline to follow the rules set up by that state and institution.

Well, how to organize folders for enrollment is very important . First , enrollment agreement form should be included students information, program wich they enrolled for , cancellation and refund policy, tuition, payment plan , student's signature and also school official signature.
students also need to have a copy of a current catalog

THE RESOURCE NOTE BOOK WILL BE A GREAT TOOL TO HAVE IN ARM'S REACH ON A RAINY DAY AT THE OFFICE

no we are a very small school. The admissions director (me) takes care of all paperwork. After graduation they are filed in a file cabinet drawer with all current year graduates. This only requires one drawer per year.

We have created separate sections in the binder - to include the printouts from the online course on each topic, such as admissions requirements, enrollment agreement, financial aid and tuition assistance, organizing and filing information. The institution's accompanying document will also be included for clarification and explanation. Also included are the various state rules, including Rule 6E-2.010, Rule 6E-1.0032, Rule 6E-2.0061 and Section 1005.31, Section 1005.04, Section 1005.34, Section 1005.38

Luckily my school had already set up a complete on-boarding notebook with all my training material, split up into designated weeks, days, times etc. as I complete the training they become job aids I can use during the admissions process.

Hector,
Student files are to be well organized. Many schools use a checklist to make sure all documentation is there, signed and in order.
