Dabel,

I refer to mine often. Knowing that you have the resources readily available encourages us to do the right thing and look it up.

All important updates and necessary forms are kept in an organized binder onmy desk

What is the best way to organize this paper work. I read over some of the ideas and will take this into consideration. We basically save ours in a binder as well as in a file electronically by certificates for each year/ position.

I have a binder that the school provided me and I continue to add more updates that a relative to the trainings that I have completed over the course of my experience. It is very useful to refer back to the binder when I am in doubt when facing different circumstances.

Rachel,
Sample documents, especially filled out, gives you the proper protocol for the information.

Patty Aronoff

I like to incorporate sample documents as well. It helps to round out the long technical forms that can sometimes be daunting.

Susan,
Excellent! You will not regret it! We love competition (admissions staff have that competitive spirit!)

Patty Aronoff

I'm taking the training's recommendation and have created a Resource Notebook. My colleague and I have made it a little competition for whose is the best prepared, most updated and comprehensive.

Denise,

Organization is the cornerstone of compliance. Organization keeps us on the right track.

Hello All,

I have my materials organized by sections and stored in a binder. I am very well organized and I do not like clutter; by labeling each session section allows for ease in finding needed information.

If will also allow quick access if one of my team members has a question.

Norma Suzanne,

Excellent! However you build your binder, make it work the best for you.

Patty Aronoff

I will be putting in order by subtitles in a binder or folder and keep all statutes in order as well.

Irene,

I would agree. Visually, since you have built it, you should immediately know right where to go.

Patty Aronoff

Maribel,
Excellent! Forgetting important information may be construed as misleading the student by omission.

Patty Aronoff

Barbara,
Having it right for your fingertips is an indication of your organization and shows the importance of the binder.

Patty Aronoff

Christina,

The beauty of the notebook is that you can organize it to your own specifications. Make it work for you!

Patty Aronoff

Legna,

I love organization, too! I like using color because it quickly tells me what subject I am looking for.

Patty Aronoff

alain,
Product knowledge is very important in admissions. When you have degree programs, we need to be prepared to discuss what happens after the degree is conferred in meeting their life plans.

Miguel ,

Good news! You are well on your way to building a wonderful resource.

Patty Aronoff

Ana,
Sounds like a great plan! The tour of the facility is just as important as the paperwork. It gives us another opportunity to bridge the school and the student to see if it is a right fit.
