That is a great idea! Thank you I will do that.

Ayana,

I would also suggest that you get involved in the community by visiting the nursing homes and hospitals in your area to get more connections.

Patty Aronoff

Kelly,
Your connection to the community will be vital in providing that role to your prospective students. Keep up the good work.

Robert,
I have found that sitting in a class is a great experience. I am able to learn something new and experience the classroom from the student perspective. It's a great time!

Robert,
That is very exciting to hear! You have a vast amount of institutional knowledge which you can bring to your role now in admissions. Getting involved in the community also assist you in providing solid information to your prospective students.

Patty Aronoff

Ana,
Learning about the programs from your lead instructors is a great way to get more in-depth knowledge. The lead instructors love to talk about their courses and the activities that they have in teaching.

Patty Aronoff

Valerie,
So very exciting! By providing continuing education to your graduates, you keep your school live in the community. It is also an opportunity for personally developed leads.

Haley ,

Career services is a great partner in admissions. They can provide you the information you need regarding careers from the programs that students enroll in.

Patty Aronoff

Teresa,

Cosmetology schools are such fun. You get to see the student as they start their learning and then you see them as they leave your school with their skills in hand.

Patty Aronoff

Kristina,
It makes the admissions tour very exciting to see the programs in progress and meet current students. You will want to add the Florida Board of nursing rules and regulations to your resource notebook.

My school will offer a Nursing assistant course. I will learn about the jobs students are trained for by the internet, word of mouth and other social media outlets.

My school offers Nail Specialty, Facial Specialty and full Cosmetology programs. Because we are a small school, we do not have a career placement coordinator. As the owner, helping students find open positions is my responsibility. I have learned a great deal about the positions for which students train by creating and maintaining networking relationships with professionals in our community and the surrounding areas.

I am new in admissions at my school. I found it very helpful for me to sit in on a class, and to read as much material as I could about the program and the classes we offer.

When I started working for the Stenotype Institute I was there Placement Director. Since then I have done admissions, marketing, and school director of a branch campus they opened. So over the last 15 years I have experienced alot. I have seen how the industry has changed, I've been to seminars hosted by the Florida Court Reporters Association and have made numerous contacts within the industry itself. We also have many different industry specialist come to our school to do seminars for our students and staff.

We offer Medical Assistant, Massage Therapy, Cosmetology and Skin Care. American Institute is often meeting for training and the Admissions team meets with lead instructors, Career Service Director for constant training and updates.

At our institution we offer cosmetology as well as barbering. We also have advanced academy which keeps the licensed professional up to date on changing techniques.

We offer many different programs. Medical assisting, medical billing and coding, network tech, pharmacy tech, RN program, health administration, business administration are a few and the most common ones I see students enrolling in for school. We offer diplomma, certificate, and associate degrees for the different programs. We have career services here and they can help me further my knowledge with the careers.

We are a cosmotology school. Anything to do with hair, nails, or makeup is taught here. I am learning all I can by reading the literature that the students are given and watching the training.

At every one of our campus' we offer solely nursing degrees, from entry level to baccalaureate programs. Working in the same building as a lot of the students, makes it easy to discuss their classes and future jobs.

Ada ,

Sounds very exciting! By keeping in touch with graduates, your alumni base will be very strong. They are your link to the community and potential leads for new students.
