the department of labor is a great source

We currently offer programs in the fields of health care, electronics, air conditioning and personal fitness. The best way to educate ourselves on each program is to speck with the instructors. This way we can have a better understanding on what each program has to offer.

Amy,
Does your program also require the approval of another state agency?

The main programs that we offer at this time is Ealry Childhood training for child care workers.

We are involved in the community and talk directly with the childcare owners and operators and offer a website forum for employers to post their openings.

Odalys,
Having two departments to prepare the students for the workforce is wonderful. Regulations require minimum placement percentages to keep the program licensed.

Angelica,
Very technical training is provided at your institution. Where does the personal fitness training fit in?

Jaime,
This is a good practice for everyone at the school. You come away with a new perspective.

We offer Allied Health Programs such as:
ASDMS
ASNUR
MA
MICS
PHA

I usually speak to the instructors and ask them questions that I normally get asked. I've even sat on some of the classes so I can get a feel of the classroom environment that we are providing for our students.

Nelida,
Great ideas for keeping in touch with the community at large. Thank you for your posting.

Alison,
Prospective students are looking for as much information about the program. For example, if it is hands on, how much?

Programs offered are cosmetology, massage therapy, skin care, nail technology, full specialist, electrology and Laser. We have open houses with salon owners. We do community events. We train with our vendors, we check the website, labor statistics, We review job specifications in the industry, we communicate with our job placement officer. We also have guest speakers in the industry who come in to talk to our students.

Product knowledge is extremely important to the admission representative and the institution it is the only way to provide the best service to the prospect regarding all the programs specialy the one of their interest.

Hi Patty!

Yes, we are American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. Our administrative offices are in Miami. I attend FAPSC every year.

I must say, this course was very helpful, especially for consolidating all our resources!

Jessica,
Your institution offers very technical programs. Try sitting in on some of the classes to get a real feel for what is involved.

Angelica,
This is so important as students rely on the reps for indepth information.

Sabrina,
I often suggest that reps sit in on classes to get a personal knowledge of what goes on in a classroom.

Shatasha,
Your school must have additional requirements through another state agency?

Adriana,
