I feel that this information is a great refresher. I have been an Enrollment Advisor for eight years so I am very familiar with the programs, policies and procedures at the university. I have enjoyed learnig more about the specific regulations. I feel confident that the university I work for is following these rules and regulations.

I would rate my knowledge level about my institution as good. I prepare the application for the State and have a big say in program planning. I'm always ready to learn something new.

I knew about rules and regulations regarding admissions representative, admission processes, enrollment agreement, institution policies and I learned many things related to CIE rules

I have learned a lot about my institution over the past month. I have talked to all of the chairs of each program to learn more about their programs and schools of study. This was very helpful.

I would rate my knowledge about my institution as a
"B". I'm heavily involved in marketing and have regular meetings with the directors of our institution to discuss "where we were, where are, and where we are going to be." I don't give my self and "A" because I'm a little out of touch on the financials in terms of the capital investment that we will need to fuel new growth. I mainly deal with generating income and building more efficient processes to make it easier for students to do business with us.

Leonard,

You have a good plan. Try visiting classrooms and speaking with the instructors. You won't be disappointed.

Elizabeth,
Thank you for your feedback. Having a small school often means several different roles for staff. Having a thorough knowledge of the rules and regs will assist everyone in their responsibilities.

Mauricio ,
Every school is different in their program offerings and how it manages. The operating rules for the state of Florida do not change between schools.

I am in the process of learning about the courses offered at my institution. The best source of information has been the college's website. I am currently becoming familiar with the courses and admissions requirements.

I would rate my knowledge about our small institution as excellent, since I am also involved in the application and license renewal process each year. I wear "several hats" at our small dental assisting school, which helps me understand the various roles. I have found this online course to be very helpful in keeping me up-to-date on the latest rules, regulations and requirements. Thank you!

In my first week here I have gone over a lot of product knowledge and admissions processes. I still have a lot to learn about the specifc courses offered. Since I went from a mostly allied health institution to a motorcycle mechanics school. It has been a tough transition learning everything I can about the school and industry.

Hector,

Financial aid is very complex and is best left to the experts. We in admissions should refer the student to a Financial Aid Officer to assist them in the process.

Patty Aronoff

Susan ,
Absolutely! The prospective student is looking to you as their admissions rep to provide them with all the information they need to decide whether or not to attend school.

Patty Aronoff

Joseph,
Knowing who to go to when we need information or clarification is a very important part of what we do.

Patty Aronoff

Jeremy,
As you continue to learn and apply your knowledge, you will become more proficient in your role at your school.

Patty Aronoff

Linda,

Keep on learning! Try sitting on some classes to enrich your knowledge of the classroom experience.

Patty Aronoff

Heidi,
If we believe we know it all, we have put ourselves at a great disadvantage. Keeping the door open to new ideas and learning opportunities keeps you on top of your game.

The Information i know about my Institution is growing by the day, at the time i know all the courses we have to offer and discovering new information about Fin- Aid.

Since November, when I was hired at this institution, I have learned so much about the Education field! I enjoy working in the admissions field because it requires you to stay on your toes and engage with prospective students. I feel it is important to know everything possibly about your institution so you can provide the highest quality of service to students.

In the short time I have been at my instituation, I would say I have learned a great deal about my institution and that makes me very happy. I am well aware of all staff and what their roles entail. I know where to turn when I need assistance and realize that although I am the go to person, there are others who are going to have more information than me.
