I've attended a 10 day training clinic at the corporate headquarters in Phoenix, AZ, a week long training session at the Orlando campus, a week in the field observing peers and a three day regional meeting at the NASCAR school in Mooresville, NC. These meetings stressed CORE values, compliance, product knowledge, program knowledge, student satisfaction and student success. Training was provided by the CEO, Sr. VPA, VPA, Training Director, Regional Director, Career Services Director, Financial Aid Director, Student Services Director, as well as other key folks.

I attend weekly marketing meetings in addition I participate in info sessions online and in person.

Hello... we belong to a few national organizations that conduct professional development, training and team building.

We also have monthly meetings, however because the owner of the school also works as faculty it seems that we have meetings everyday. However, in addition to this we also attend any free in service and BON/CIE meetings to learn about current changes and any updates that might help our students.

We have several differnt types of meetings all which contain different information pertaining to different departments which is important.
We have department meetings which we can discuss things specific to admissions. We also have Manager meetings which gives us an opporunity to learn about what is going on with the other departments and then be able to train our staffs on any changes. We also have all staff meetings where everyone can come together and discuss the different things that are going on in the school. . questions, concerns, things to celebrate, changes. They are all benificial in different ways!

The most important meetings that I attend usually have to do with some sort of training. Our organization is very focused with training everyone.

Christie,
In admissions, we must keep focused and motivated.Team meetings do just that.

Renee,

We have monthly meetings and staff meetings on a weekly basis. We also have meetings to discuss the changes to the laws regarding health care requirements and the Board of Nursing meetings since most of our courses are medical.
