Kerrie,
Yes, meetings are a great way to keep the information moving forward. We all need to be on the same page.

Betty,
The best case scenario is to be proactive in our efforts rather than waiting for the problem to occur.

Meetings with individual heads of new programs, the director of admissions, other reps. Eventually I will attend conferences. I get updates on meetings the dean's go to so I have the most current information to give to our students.
That sounds great! Your institution seems very well rounded. We also had mock admission training. Probably more nerve racking than speaking with a student!
I have individual meetings with the dean's of my programs to stay updated on THEIR meetings with other critical people in the process. I regularly check in with the director of admissions and will begin attending conferences about policy and other factors with our new programs.
Regular meetings help making vital changes to some problematic situations.
MARTHA,
Regulations must be well known by all staff in order to remain compliant. Meetings can help facilitate that process.
Patty Aronoff

The more training and information we can receive, the better we are at our jobs and compliance. Take advantage whenever you can.

We have daily, weekly and monthly meetings.
I agree, We meet once per month with the entire staff and once per week with the administrative staff.
The meetings we held at our institution provide us with great insight about the things we need to improve. At least every two weeks we held the meetings. We talk about the job market and how our students can benefit from the information we gather. We also update information that is given to the students. The office of student services as well, provides us with a great deal of information that impacts our execution in the admissions department. Also, it is important to review the policies regarding the institution. That way we can give the prospective student the most accurate information.
Our institution has meeting every two weeks. These meeting aims to develop new strategies to pursue prospective students. Also, we attend meeting organized by Workforce, which provide us with great insight about the job market at the present time. When it comes to our job as admissions representative, we need to keep the information up to date. Sources like the internet can provide us with a great deal of information, that can facilitate our job. The more we know, the more confidently we can approach the prospective students.
We have dept meetings, manager meetints, one on ones, and critique training as well.
