Mark,
This is so important. Schools must work together in order to achieve success.

Mark,
People love to share their knowledge and ideas. Keep up the good work!

Hi Patty....I attend a weekly staff meeting that includes all department heads. They will share information during that meeting that will directly relate to the admissions process. I will be adding all of the websites provided to keep me updated on regulatory requirements. Those websites will really help me out. I am kept current on any changes within my institution by communicating weekly on my own with department heads and our Campus President.

Of course I attend weekly staff meetings where updated information from each department is distributed. However, I also make sure that I touch base frequently with each department head to more or less "pick their brain". I want to obtain any information that is important and needs to be conveyed to my applicants.

Omar,
Meetings are important to keeping everyone on the same goal while providing an opportunity to learn and grow.

Paula,
Meetings are a great way to put issues and experiences on the table. Ask questions and challenge for increased learning.

Paula you were writing to fast... but yes we have meetings every week to discuss performance, changes in the institution, new programs, and to stay up to day with rules and regulations concerning not only to admissions but to the school.

Its good to search on Internet, new pilicies, changes and regalations. We also meet once a wweek to find solutions and grow as a Admissions Team

Kimberly,
I agree! Meetings are not only important, they need to be conducive to learning.

Tamara,
Meetings are a great time to share experiences, learn new information and ask questions.

meetings are so important, for plethera of reasons... any human being, I don't care who you are... misses some aspect of a meeting! reiterate the most possitive aspects and any doubts or unclear messages

We have several meetings a week and some that are monthly

Carolyn,
I have personally found that the public meetings have much to share in learning. You learn about other schools and situations.

Alison,
Are there other opportunities for you other than meetings?

James,
Communication links are very important as you have stated.

Imaidy,
Continuing the learning process comes from all sources as you have shared.

Rene,
Excellent! Keep the learning going!

Jennifer,
Meetings such as yours is so important to make the student experience better.

Tim,
Thank you for sharing your school's process. It is important to receive constructive feedback in order to make the program better. Great idea!

The benefit of a small start up environment is the frequency of interaction with other team members. I attend the CIE and FL Board of Nursing meetings and learn somthing at each one I attend. Information is brought back and shared with staff - we've listened to a portion of a meeting that addressed a specific topic of interest or that was relevant to our institution. It takes effort to keep everyone informed but the alterntive is unacceptable.
