It doesn't really affect me since I do not work for commission. I treat all students fairly and base my work requirements/decision on what is in compliance.
Raymond,
Being compliant should always be first and foremost. It protects everyone.
Tram,
Compliance means protection for your school and the students. It also means the ability to operate legally.
Thomas,
The CIE staff are there to assist. Program specialists are assigned to your school and will work with you on any question you ma have.
The CIE requirements affect every aspect of our jobs as admissions advisors/agents. Everything that we do has to be done within compliance or we stand the chance of not only putting ourselves at risk of violation but also our institutions. Adversely, if we are conducting our business with integrity there should be no cause for concern.
compliance with CIE requirements is very important for a school growing and improving
The CIE helps representatives understand more about the institution they work. This hepls to better inform a potential student. It aslo gives a clear picture of standards, procedures, and a reference of rules that must be followed.
definately it is, thank you for commenting. some student might believe you are the one person they need to see but I make sure that they understand my job description.
Patrice,
Check with your supervisor regarding your job description.
Kettia,
Well stated! Quoting salaries is a dangerous road.
If someone is a receptionist, do they need to complete this training?
I'll just say my job is to help people make career decisions. you have to refer to salary.com and bls website
Amy,
The regs are there to protect both the consumer and the school. Good regulatory practices protect everyone.
The CIE requirments provided the standards to offer complete and accurate information to the students that come to our programs. If you follow the requirments you will not only offering a great service to your students but you will be making sure that you are pursuant to the fair consumer practices in the Florida Statues. Its all about check and balances.
Brikell,
Compliance is the key to success. Regulations keep everyone protected and ethics plays an important role.
The CIE ensures not only that the Instition is compliant but that the admission staff is compliant likewise. Both the istitution and the agent staff can lose their license for non-compliance. Therefore we have the burden on all sides to ensure we comply. The agent and the institution by these requiremnts, should be driven to keep each other in full complaiance, which by extention ensures an outstanding record for the instition and the agent and makes the prospect through the level of information given by admissions reps feel more secure in their decision to enroll in your our school.
Ronald,
The regulatory requirements protect you as a school and the student as a consumer.
Sabrina,
You are so right! Ethical and compliant.
Anamaria,
Rules are there to protect everyone, the institution and the student.
Shatasha,
Excellence...compliance...responsibility, all great things.
