Marlene,
Weekly meetings are a constant reminder that we need to get together to share information nd learn from each other.

Patty Aronoff

Meetings are regular part of our weekly schedule, Our managers are sure we are current in policies and procedures.

I attend all my schools in house meetings. I have been a site visitor for our schools accreditation and learned quite a lot by going to other schools.

I attend faculty meetings, new prorgam traninings, as well as any required regulatory meeting in which my school wants me to participate in. These are just three samples of the meetings that I attend. All of these and may other keep me informed, up to date and in the loop about our institution.

Our department has meetings at least once per week. They are often very informative providing any new policy changes, marketing updates, or strategies for the upcoming cohort.

I agree Commission Meetings are great, you learn and meet everyone, you can also share ideas with other school.

I usually attend faculty meetings and the commissions meetings.

We have weekly one-on-one meetings with the Director of Recruitment, weekly marketing meetings, and weekly department meetings.

I was just at an employers facility yesterday, where they instructed me on what they were looking for in new trainee's, (trade school graduates) and if our school could provide some specific training for students that would make them more desirable to hire. I took this up with our main instructor, and we are making changes to the course to help students get jobs when they graduate. In addition, we are members of several industry trade groups, and receive their corespondence and updates, which we disscuss in class, to keep students abreast of the latest trends and hiring opportunities. As we are a national testing center for our professions licensing test, we keep up to date week by week not only industry changes, but Federal regulation changes as well. In addition, we know most supply house managers well, and they have free training sessions we attend to learn about new products coming out in the industry as well.

Weekly meetings are always beneficial! There is always something to learn or you can gain clarity on different subjects.

ISMARY,

Great opportunity for everyone to grow and develop.
