maria,

Meetings are important to share information and bring tems together. It is important that the admissions team work effectively with the other departments in the school.

Jerry,

Video conferencing has given us a new way go communicate. Even the CIE meetings are video cast.

We have weekly show meetings with the director, registrar, and FA Director. All Admissions Reps and FA Reps must attend. During this time we touch base on what is happening in each department and any other pertinent news or changes. It's a great time to exchange ideas or concerns and get feedback.

I find out that meetings are great source for learning rules, regulations, policies, etc, but more than anything, the real life challenges and experiences other bring to our conversations tends to be eye-opening and of great preparation for what one day we might be facing with a real student...

Meetings are very helpful because even though you have read any updates online you still might understand or get better clarity when you hear other views or descripptions in the meeting.

Training meetings and any other meetings that would be helpful in the admissions process.

I attend faculty meetings,as well as instructor meetings.

Weekly meetings with updates, on-line webex meetings for training tools and updates and on-line classes for updates.

I have attended the compiance meetings, and our supervisor has gather myself and the other tour coordiantor in meetings to keep us informed of any changes to the admissions policies.

I attend commission meetings as well as weekly admissions meetings that we have via video conference with all 6 of our campuses.

angela,
Well stated! It is an accomplishment and everyone should look at meetings as a way to grow and develop.

Javier ,
Best wishes on the opening of your school. Having good communication will be very important not only in those early days but as your school continues to grow.

Patty Aronoff

Debra,
Meetings are ways to sha niño formation, make sure that everyone is understanding the policies and procedures and giving the opportunity for feedback and growth.

I agree that team meetings are an important part of the continuous training and developmental phase for every employee. I also feel that we can’t forget the importance of properly utilizing the time during the meeting and making sure that all suggestions/comments are taking into serious consideration. Not everyone will come out of a team meeting agreeing with everything that was discussed, but everyone has to come out feeling like something was really accomplished in order for a work team meeting to really have a positive effect.

We have weekly meetings, one of one with direct supervisor and bi-weekly trainings to cover advice and ensure we are following all rules. It's important to have consistency among the entire team for legal, operational and end-result reasons.

The meetings do I attend to learn more about my job, admissions policies, regulatory requirements, and my Institution include the faculty meetings, staff meetings, and continuing education meetings or seminars About relevant topics.

Our institution has not opened doors yet. But when we do, we plan on having a monthly staff meeting to go over how everything is running, and make sure everyone is up to date on their information they are providing.

My organization has us attend weekly and monthly meetings that we attend as a group to discuss ways to improve our job funtions and to keep us up to date with policies and regulatory requirements. We also have one on one meetings we schedule with management to discuss changes and ways to improve the department work flow on an individual basis.
