Linette,
Great! Your advertising will also be reviewed by CIE and the onsite evaluators for the Commission.

Patty Aronoff

Our advertising is reviewed by several employees. It is definitely in compliance.

Yamile,

I agree 100% with the most effective promotion of your school is from your own students who are discussing their satisfaction with the education they are receiving or have received. It is the best compliment to have someone come in that has been recommended from someone who is happy. As far as advertising and marketing, here at my institution Admissions is aware, but removed from decision making processes on advertising. The Advertising/Marketing departments work closely with our compliance teams as well as a board that determines that we are meeting ethical and mandated requirements. We also use a variety of sources including internet, printed ads, radio and television. All in all, whatever methods are used we always have to remain ethical in our approaches to be fair to any potential future student.

Rebecca,
Having such an office in your organization is great. They do all the heavy lifting when it comes to compliance.

Yamile,
All advertising should be clear and concise or it may be misleading to the consumer which is against Florida law.

Patty Aronoff

Our compliance department is part of our corporate "office." They regulate verbiage, facts and any information in regards to our schools and parent company. We have very little leeway at the campus level which is good becuase we do not open ourselves up to mistakes or false information being shared.

Our advertising is clear, concise and meet all the requirements of "The Florida Fair Consumer Practices". We have implemented marketing strategies including direct mail, print ads, school website, and students' referral. The truth is, arguably our best results have been students' referrals.

Sandra,
Excellent! A second or third pair of eyes will catch those items others have missed.

Denise ,
All advertising should present a clear and concise message. No information should be misleading.

Denise ,
That is great news! Always review before implementation.

Patty Aronoff

Phillip,
All advertising needs to be compliant with Fair Consumer Practices and Standard 11 of the rules.

Patty Aronoff

Our departments have check and balances to ensure compliance.

We are a small school and all our associates work together very closely. Our advertising is reviewed by several employees and conveys a very clear concise message. It is definitely in compliance.

We have just begun our promotion efforts and just released our website. The content of the website has been reviewed and it meets the guidelines and regulations. After taking this section of the training I am better equipped to review our promotions. This will included print ads and emails to former students.

Julia ,

We always want to know what brought our prospective students to our school.

Patty Aronoff

Joseph,
Excellent! It is very important to check and double check.

Patty Aronoff

Kathy,

Compliance for advertising is covered under Fair Consumer Practices and also under Standard 11.

Patty Aronoff

Noelle ,

Personally developed leads (PDLs) are the best.

Patty Aronoff

A majority of our leads come from word of mouth, however we also use postcards, email, and social media, such as Facebook and YouTube.
