Regulatory Rules
What are the ways you are learning the various Rules that regulate your activities and your institution?
How often is the regulatory information updated or changed?
I am learning about the various regulatory rules through this course along with information provided by my school. We also participate in group discussion on a daily basis to insure that the admissions team has a complete understanding of the regulations.
I am learning the various rules that regulate my activities and our institution by:
1-Interviewing all Department Directors as to their duties and how the interact with me as an agent.
2- Talking with all Department Chairs re: Programs & Classes.
3- Copying and reading Rules and Laws.
4- Reviewing School Catalogue.
I have been able to learn about the various school rules by visiting the OACCS website, viewing the school catalog, interviewing fellow representatives, and completing training modules.
I am attending a training seminar with my new employer. We are reading both state and company publications.
Through this website, instruction from another Admission employee and through a handbook and various printed materials.
I regularly review our catalog, enrollment agreement, and admissions process to refresh knowledge and continue to be educated on our policies and procedures. Regulatory compliance protects our students, staff, and institution.
I am very very thankful for the formal training involved! Also, my Admissions Director and my peers are all extremely helpful and I am learning where to locate key items needed. My resourse book is started and organized...this will help me confirm any questions I have.
by maintaining notes and taking comprehensive quizes I am able to understand the regulatory process more efficiently.
Its very important that students have catologs so they can read through the requirments and rules of the school they are attending
Some of the ways that I am currently learning the various rules are by interacting with staff members, reading our policy and guidelines and looking over the catalog. Also my institute provides a lot of material to make sure that we are continually in compliance.
We have been training on the rules of our institution to better inform us to assist our prospective students and give them accuarate information. We have been using online testing and moduels, college brochures,flyers and catalogues to familiarize ourselves with our rules. Also, roll playing scenarios to practice verbiage to use in the field.
First and foremost, I read to understand everything relied upon to enroll students. I want my students to make informed choices, so I also listen to understand their concerns. All schools make changes so it's incumbent on my to take responsibility for remaining current both on changes to school P&Ps and regulatory changes.

Our managers from all areas of the institution have been readily available to assist us in learning rules and regulations.
I continue to learn by studing the catalog and our internal learning site with PDF forms of policies and prcedures available.
I am learning by taking notes on information i have read. If there is anything I am unclear about I will ask my supervisor.
I am a member of several organizations that send me updates on any changes to current rules and regulations.
