I agree. I learn so much by studying the enrollment agreement and reading the Catalog every single day. You can never know enough

Regulatory rules constantly change. I stay aware of them through OACCS updates, my college catalog and enrollment agreements and internal training. State and federal rules are important items to always comply with.

I am always refering to our school catalog as well as attending training classes our campus holds to update us on any new rules or changes.

While many of the rules and regulations are very similar, each state has unique requirements. Wording and terminology can vary greatly between institutions and accrediting associations.

I am learning the rules and regulations though the four training programs I've been through. In addition, I am learning most from the other Admissions Reps and the DOA.

Being a new Agent, I have been reading and re-reading our school documents, especially the enrollment agreement. I plan to sit with the FA rep so that I can understand that process..I also plan to visit the OACCS website to keep up with any changes and advice.

A lot of this information has been built into the fine print of our Order Agreements that we use for B2B training. I didn't understand alot of it but now I do.

I have found that going over the enrollment agreement, catelogue, and different training modules given to me by manager I have been able to learn a lot not only about wording specifics, but also about policies and procedures. This course has reinforced what I have been learning and has given me insight into some of our campus regulations.

Mary,
That's an excellant idea! I'll make sure I do that.

I use the catolog as a reference tool for when students ask me questions about policies and procedures to make sure I give the most current correct information. I always keep a current copy of the catolog on hand.

I agree Rita, I read all of the literature provided by the school on a regular basis, and now I plan on regularly checking the OACC website also!

I am learning the regulatory rules through several mediums. This course provided many useful resources in regards to Enrollment Agreements and Regulatory Laws for Admissions Representatives. My company also provided extensive training for the first several weeks of my employment to allow me to familiarize myself with company, state and federal regulations.

I will also continue to learn about new regulatory activities through continuing education.
