We have a checklist that has all the proper paperwork listed that needs to be signed with the student. The papers are all grouped together in our office for easy access too.

I made a binder for this training that I just had. I must always up-date my binder its a very important tool to use with students.

I am using a binder to organize all the paperwork.

Howard:

I would agree that the financial aid department should probably answer any specific refund questions that a student may have because it can get quite complicated with the variety of funding sources that students use. However, admissions reps should be able to discuss and/or identify the basic refund policy that is contained in the enrollment agreement as well as discuss other school polices that set forth in the document.

Kristine:

This is a very good suggestion. Having admissions reps understand what is discussed during financial aid appointments can give the admissions rep a much better idea of how that key part of a student's enrollment is processed.

The materials can be placed in a binder.

I agree, this is a great idea. Thank you

I have an enrollment folder that contains all of the paperwork and information needed to complete the admissions process. We also have a Admissions Co-ordinator that will double check all paperwork to ensure all forms are completed.

i always wondered if the financial aid person should go over the enrollment agreement and have them sign it because the are the department that handles charges and refunds.

I have created an enrollment folder that contains all of the paperwork required for each student's enrollment. Each folder has a checklist that must be completed before I can pass the folder to the Registrar. This process ensures that each student has completed all the forms and has provided proof of H.S. diploma or GED.
The last form signed is the Ohio Disclosure form.

All of the agents at our school have their own 3 ring binder that contains all of this information. The binder contains a sample enrollment agreement, sample forms (filled out correctly) and any other documents that may be required during the enrollment process. By having this binder at my desk, I am ready for any questions that I may need to answer for the student or their parents.

I made copies of all pertinent information and organized into a notebook that I keep in my office for quick reference.

Keep a folder of what is needed and a checklist to run through to make sure nothing is overlooked.

Sometimes its good to sit thru an FA appointment and then have FA sit thru an admissions appointment this really helps to reassure students of the information they will receive and helps the staff to understand each others role in the admissions process.

I put together a notebook, which is always at my finger tips. When a potential student asks me a question relating to regulations, it right there. So far it has been helpful!

I printed out all materials and placed them in a binder for easy access.

I have found that a large 3 ring binder is the best way to keep myself organized.

We try to have all the paperwork that is a part of the admissions process organized in a folder. Each student must have all necessary paperwork that placed in a indivdual file and kept in the same order to be audited before the admissions prcess can be finalized.

I have a binder in my office to add state rules and regulations, policies and procedures. Also, I keep Admissions information and updates along with financial aid information. I like staying updated on state rules and regulations and any procedures to enhance my job.

I will now have a three ring binder in the admissions office tabbed with the various table of contents. Each of the 26 administrative rules will be available for the admissions staff to review or reference if needed during the admissions process. All paperwork for the campus is available in a top file drawer based on what paperwork is needed depending the student and the program he or she is enrolling at the campus.
