During the initial contact with an individual, we request an individual to complete our school inquiry form. However, during this process our staff informs all individuals that our facility and or school will not contact them without their consent. Instead, we hand them our school catalog and or our business card and request that they browse our catalog and contact us if they have any more questions.

Our school do not participate in cold calling of any sort

having the "Do-Not-Call" and "Can-Spam" regulations in play makes it a gives you the benefit of knowing that they are possible interested in more information about your school. When these were not in play you could have several issues arise that could have been avoided.

they have not changed our recruiting methods since we have all of our inquiries checked prior to contact.

i agree,my phone calls are very important to build value with the prospective student

This has not changed my methods. Students who wish to return contact me directly.

The institution I work for processes do not call requests immediately. Since we only call inquiries, we technically have the prermission of the student requesting the information.

A strategy to effectively attract students is to make sure all employees are trained with integrity and follow the compliance training through maxknowledge.

I respect the wishes of a student not wanting to be called.

We have emails and phone scripts, which are required to be used, so information is compliance as well as training with policies and procedures. We also have a compliance department which watches for state to state issues and broadcast them throughout the organization. I use FERPA and only email if student has given permission through inquiry process.

The best way to effectively attract students continues to be personally developed referrals. When you have students who have had great experiences with your school, chances are, they will know others who would be interested in a similar experience. These referrals will be more familiar with the process and have credible evidence that it works since they know someone already enrolled in a school.

The changes really does not affect us as a school. Onec we make the first call back. If not wanting to come to are school we take them off the list.

We try to make are presents know by visiting high schools that want us to come in and tell them about our school. The field that we are in is in high demand.

I have only used the phone call method couple of times. When I do use the phone to call back propesctive students they tell when they want to come for a tour or tell me they are not wanting to come to this school.
So, the so called changes really does not effect us as we recruit. Once I call the first time if not intersted I take them off the list.

The list that I keep after 25 days I scracth the name off the list so I do not call them back.

We avoid making phone calls and using email contacts unless we are contacted first by the prospective student. That way we ensure to abide by all the rules and not be in violation. Advertising our school and having our outside rep attend trade shows and career fairs helps to attract students without violating their privacy.

We use workshops and career fairs to attract new students along with calling

I respect the 3 month rule especially if no contact has been made in that time with repeated efforts.

We are very up front on no cold calls with prospective students. The calls are to be used for interested students and proper follow up only.

We continue to run our inquiries through the DNC list so its not an issue for us

We are required to srcub all numbers from all versions of call list before calling. That way, if a person asked for us to DNC and it was registered in one database, we can then do the same in any other database.

It made me aware that some times you dont have to be so aggresive
