A smile and a firm handshake can definitely go a long way in helping you make a lasting impression with your students, Jose. In what ways have these helped you in the past to connect to your prospective students?
a smile, and a firm handshake- letting the student know from the get-go that were friendly, and they'll get some soild answers
So true! I'm curious what you do when you witness others who aren't providing customer service as you describe.
It sounds like customer service to your students is definitely a priority, Breanne. Creating a caring and supportive environment for your students will definitely impact your organization in a positive way. I'm curious, how do you help others deliver great customer service?
My definition of Customer Service, is making sure I can do anything for our students to help them out. With great Customer Service it can make a student feel like our school really cares and listens to what they need and want. Having great Customer Service can impact our school greatly by having our students recommend us to there friends and also gives our school a great name as well.
Hi Susan,
I appreciate your insight and couldn't agree with you more. Taking the time to listen to your students can go a long way to helping them determine their own best solutions. Making the choice to really listen to students can be difficult at times, what are some of the methods you use to remind yourself to take time to listen to your students?
I look forward to your response. Thanks for your contribution.
Customer Service can include taking time to listen to a student who might be having a stressful day or taking a class that they are having difficulty with. Sometimes just listening and helping the student do some critical thinking makes them feel they are getting the service they need
Hi Andrew,
Thank you for your contribution. I completely agree with you regarding the influence that positive customer service has on the organization. A campus that exhibits a friendly, polite, and respectful atmosphere is usually a successful one.
As your school's leader, I am interested to hear how you also help your staff and faculty remedy less than positive customer service experiences?
I look forward to your response. Have a great day.
My definition of Customer Service is simply treating someone the way you want to be treated. Every interaction at every level with staff and faculty of a campus must be friendly, polite and respectful. The student graduating will ultimately be the product of the school. During their time at the school and afterwards, you want the student to feel good about their experience and decision to attend. This is why it is so vitally important that every customer service interaction be a positive one. We all know how important word of mouth and referrals are in this business. Bad customer service can most certainly impact enrollment and retention, which are critical to the success of the school.
