At the end of each class the student fill out a observation on the class. that we can see were we need to improve. They also do yearly one's too.

End of class surveys every 6 weeks. this surveys are analized and the date pull from them makes a percentage of the instructor evaluation for the year. we communicate with students and make sure that everybody in the building from reception to the president of the school are involve and interested in student developmnet and outcomes. we are proactive and allow us to stay on top of the game.

James, what are the topics for the random campus surveys? Who decides when to use this tool and is the subject selected?

There are surveys that students must do at certain times in their time at the college. These surveys give them a chance to voice concerns that they may have with the program. Giving us a chance to make changes if warranted.

Our school does periodic surveys to get feedback from the students. I think this is important to evaluate their experience as they go. They may have times where the course they are taking is better than others.

We have an overall student satisfaction survey each quarter. At the end of a course there is a also a survey that provides the instructor input to make adjusments as needed.

Our institution incorporates end of course surveys and random campus surveys to gauge the level of student satisfaction in both class and campus resources. Changes are made in class and on campus based upon these results.

Christa, how does the "warm connections to transfer the student" work that it avoids restating the issue?

That's a very strong statement, Martin. Congratulations. You must have a very good retention rate.

What criteria and process does your institution use to assure that only qualified instructors are hired, Bettye?

Our institution places a heavy emphasis on building relationships with the students so they are comfortable to discuss any issues. Also, if a concern arises we use the warm connections to transfer the student to the appropriate faculty member easing the stress about restating the issue. We also utilize student evaluations several times a year and create results based off the students replies.

Here we provide anything and everything that the student needs for success. Our experience puts us in a position that has seen every possible way that a student will need help. WE provide academic and vocational tutoring at times that are convenient for the students.

Surveys are done at the end of the course to evaluate if the students needs are being met.

Our institution hires qualified instructors who are willing to work with the students and give them immediate feedback on their academic performance.

They make me think about more aspects of my job than just perfect information presentation. The impact me by realizing how different each individual is looking at the course.
