I think the most important thing for the course instructor to be successful and for their students to have a supportive learning environment is for the instructor to have an indepth knowledge and understanding of not only the course content but of the system of which it is delivered.
It is important to structure the materials in a way that is logical, simple, and predicatable. It is also critical to learn the platform, its capabilities, and how to troubleshoot minor issues to assist students who are new to it.

I will make sure that I know how all the online resources work before I teach the content. Since I've been remote learning, during the past couple of months, a common problem has been my parents not understanding how to log into different platforms. I need to know how to do these things so I can be more helpful.
Emergency e-learning and module-based instruction look wholly different from one another. I plan to look at other school's models of ELA instruction using Canvas or another CMS to better grasp how my classroom could look in the fall.
In an online learning environment, it is important for educators to understand their role in everything. Expectations should be set for content, amount of time, responding to emails and questions, and assessments. Educators must also be able to monitor which students are completing assignments. The educator must understand how to use the online platform in order for all of the previous expectations to be met.
I'm curious how Google Classroom could be used as a Course Management System as it lacks several elements suggestion for inclusion in a module-based course.

In order to be succesful as an online Instructor, you need to be prepared, and understand very well how to use the CMS, be familiar with the technology that we are using, because the students may need a lot of support. when developing a lesson we as Online Instructors need to Organize the class very well, to make it easy for the student to follow.

Switching to remote learning can be frustrating for teachers and students. However, the frustration can be lessened when the teacher becomes more familiar with technology and online teaching support. There is definitely alot more involved in online teaching methods than I first thought. I will use the ideas presented to enhance my online learning platform for my students. One of the primary things that I learned/found enjoyable was the doctrine that online learning has a lot of room for creativitiy and innovation for both student and instructor alike. This said, it is important to note that the role of online instructors are to serve as active facilitators and guides to the challenges students will naturally face during the course of an online class.
