That it is important for me to understand the online platform in order to help students, and to prevent frustrations.  Also, it's okay for all instructors not to convey the information in the same way.

I like the idea that students will have all of the information presented to them at the beginning of the modue, but we can make adjustments to what the student has the ability to open.  In other words, we can struture our lessons so that the student must go through it step by step before they take the quiz or begin working on the final project

The content provided a good starting point for preparing for online instruction.  I look forward to learning more about online classroom management techniques.

In addition to knowledge of the course material, there are a number of factors that must be considered to be an effective e-learning instructor. Knowledge of the online platform used is critical, as it can make or break a student's ability to enjoy and be successful in the class. It seems that the most crucial factor overall is the organization of the instructor, both in course content and course delivery.

There are complexities that go into online delivery of courses.  The instructor needs to spend  a signifigant amount of time understanding the management of the online course so as to make vertain it is student friendly. Students will need as much teacher support as possible; feedback, as said needs to be done as quickly as possible. These components are not so very different from in person teaching, however it is imperative that the instructor can manage the variables inon line teaching.

I learned and am more familiar with online course delivery and teaching online learners.

Having an understanding of the online platform is essential to success with online learning.  It is important to have an orientation to help students with navigating through the CMS. It is important that as an educator I find ways to interact with the students.

I found it helpful to see an outline of unit, modules, and lessons. By organizing the information in a clear manner we can help the students stay organized and have less confusion. Sometimes with online learning I feel not as important as teaching in the classroom, but this was a good reminder that my duty is to be there for the students and encourage them even when we are not face-to-face.

It is important to learn the course management system in order to be an effective online instructor and to help your students navigate the system.

It looks like proper preparation is a big key to having success in this environment.

I have learned that having a common goal, but utilizing different methods to achieve that goal as e-learning instructors is key.

The important issues for an effective online learnign environment include effective instructor and technical support, course management structure. The course must be presented in a way that keeps students fully engaged and allows for them to be active participants in the learning process.

I have learned that the course management system needs to be user friendly. Both the teacher and the students need to know the components and how to use them. Support needs to be available for all parties. Assigments need to be clear and concise.

Online teaching should be handled in a simple, user friendly format, with adequate support and employing different methods of teaching /learning.

I learned that quality online instruction includes more than the instructor's knowledge of the course material. There are many other considerations to include in preparing, delivering and maintaining coursework and communication with students.

I need to get a better grasp on the online learning platform of the college I teach at.

Online delivery requires flexibility and preparation.  There is no one size fits all approach but it does require a teacher being fully prepared so that they can address student issues/concerns as the course proceeds.  An unorganized course will make it more difficult to engage students and harder for the teacher to manage the course.

I think online learning is exciting and very relevant now amidst the lockdown order.

When delivering content to an online audience in an e-learning way, you have to think very carefully about the delivery of the content and you have to make sure that the information you are putting out to your students is very clear and easy to understand. Make sure your navigation is easily understood and it's the same throughout the course. I believe a lot of headaches can be solved in the early stages of your Course Management System orientation with your students. Spend a great deal of time planning and making sure your delivery is on point so you and your students can spend more time on the content and curriculum than trying to troubleshoot issues.

Learning in an online platform is more challenging for instructors particularly for those beginners because it requires the ability to keep students engage in their studies in a virtual environment. I learned that providing student-centric education can be done in different approach or strategies with common end goal that is provision of essential learning concepts and skills  to students in constructive feedback in a timely manner.
