I enjoy having the list of definitions available. It is funny how just a word can change the meaning of something. I do want to make sure I have this correct, an admissions representative works with the students at the campus, and an agent can discuss the information with students at other locations?
The information placed in my Resource Notebook is the glossary and the websites where I can other information when needed.
What I have discovered about my institution is how thorough they are on explaining the expectations.
The Resource Notebook is a great source to have at your fingertips. Along with Rules and Regulations I will include documents pertaining to my campus in general. In addition, a phone directory of our other school locations.

Many of the common terms and definitions outlined in this course are used by our institution. Two of these include the following:
Accreditation: We discuss with potential students our current provisional accreditation and what that means. We also throughly explain that we are in line for full licensure and the differences between the two.
Enrollment Agreement: Students are walked thru our admissions process which culminates by signing of the Student Enrollment Agreement. We point out our refund policies and other pertinent information while allowing the students to review the documents and ask any questions.

We are brand new to this and working on insuring compliance as we begin our Independent Postsecondary application process.
We are using terms like Enrolment form that may need to be Enrolllment Agreement. It seems I need to really study the NEW terms to insure we say things correctly.
