Well, by learning from this online training I am now more knowledgeable of all the Florida Status and Rules and Regulations which regulates all the activities that we need to be in compliance with.
Being new to the state, I have found this training very helpful when it comes to the Florida Statutes and Rules and Regulations. I have also spent some time browsing the Florida Department of Education website and have added a lot of additional information to my Resource Notebook.
I am re-enforcing my knowledge by reading and printing them for my Notebook. Reading through them and comparing them with our schools catalog, enrollment agreement seems to help me understand the big picture. It is making me stop and think about what I am doing and how I am doing it. Our course chairs our a good source for changes.
We have weekly meetings with the School director, DOR,MOR, FA director. When changes occur, we have access to the dept heads to help us learn about any changes and how those changes effect us.
