Instructors are the subject matter experts when it comes to their programs. Ask them questions. Sitting in on class is awesome!

Congratulations! I would also suggest contacting the Humane Society and local vets.

Sonise ,
You will want to add the Board of Nursing rules and laws to your resource notebook. Check out their website as well for important information.

Patty Aronoff

Joanna,

We should always look for the right fit. It always is in the best interest for everyone to make sure.

Patty Aronoff

Celeste,
Students should be trained on how to research career fields and salary information. Those are two great resources.

The programs we have here are Business Admin., Interdisciplinary Studies, Medical Assistant, Allied Health, Computer System Information, Elementry Education, and Legal Secretary. I will be able to speak with the Professors here on campus to learn of different jobs that's available, or even Google them.

We offer the Cosmetology program. I do have a advantage I have had my Cosmetotloy Lic. for over 22 years so I know what kind of jobs the students train for. I love this field!!!! :-))))))

We offer associate degrees in drafting and design, Networking, and electrical engineering technology. Many of the teachers have been wonderful in helping me understand what they teach, and the relevant vocabulary. I am looking forward to sitting in on some classes.

I will be offering only one program at my school if approved by the commission and that is Dog Grooming. I will be contacting Pet Grooming Salons and send out notices to them. Depending on the area the student lives is where my effort will be put into place. I will look in the paper and on the internet to find jobs out their within the students area.

My school specialize in nursing. We offer the LPN, LPN to RN bridge, BSN, and MSN.

There a many different kinds of programs offered at our school. Though I focus primarily on two programs in particular, if a potential student contacts me for my programs, but the more we talk another program might be better, I am able to discuss in general about the other programs. It is very helpful!

The programs offered are broken down in several categories:

Business
Education
Criminal Justice
Humanities
Information Systems
Natural Sciences
Nursing/Health Care
Social Sciences

Within each of these categories there are several concentrations.

Information on the jobs students train for are listed on an internal website for staff to speak to potential students about. In addition, there are several resources on the web to help student conduct their own research such as O*NET and the Occupational Handbook.

Casey,

Excellent! The diversity of programs of our sector serves our students well.

We offer PMP, CCNA, SQL and other various technical and non techinal programs.

Eric ,
Onet is a wonderful resource. When giving students information, it needs to be backed up by reliable sources that the student can access on their own.

Patty Aronoff

Katherine,
