There is alot to know. Where is the training located that agents have to take? It could be beneficial for all at the school not just agents that are away.

I think that agents are very important to the admission process, it had never crossed my mind how much training and expectations that is put on an agent.

Now that I am approaching completion of this course, I can say I am pleased with the requirements for Agents.
Prior to this course, I understood the importance of an Agent's job, but I was not aware of how detailed the rules and regulations were or how they are monitored.

Whether or campus or in the field, the rules and information reflect fair consumer practices.
We do not require an agent since our admissions is strictly on campus, however the information and resources available, serve as essential,useful tools during our admissions process.

I personally like to know as much as possible about every position so I am able to help the student and be the "one stop shop" for my students.

One thing I think is key in any job is: Know all positions as much as possible! The more information you have, the better for everyone.
An agent of course needs to be extremly knowlegable in their job but its so great to know you've helped out a student as much as possible in stead of saying the "I don't know" answer! :O)

This course was very informative. It requires the agent to always work within the constraints of their respective catalogs and to always take the perspective student needs and wants first and foremost. It also allow the agent to be compliant with all the rules and regulations at all times.
