Steve,
Thank you for your feedback. I agree with your statements. Unfortunately, some become complacent in their work due to their longevity in the position. Learning never stops and new questions are always at our doorsteps. Good luck to you in your endeavors.

Patty, FINE work. These times require not only rigorous training but also focused recruitment of fit, enthusiastic and committed men and women who are willing to dedicate themselves for work in a new technological milieu. As learning platforms become more sophisticated and eFaculty more comfortable with the technology, I believe there must also be a paradigm shift for those who would represent institutions' rapidly changing environments and the constituencies which they would serve...competently, professionally, ethically.

Sondra,
Good communication can be a lifesaver. Asking questions keeps everyone sharp.

The Agent's requirements are complex, detailed, and important to know. The course has been an eye-opener, as I hadn't much foreknowledge relative to Agents!

I can appreciate the amount of knowledge and the amount of work that is required of an agent. The resources notebook will become a valuable tool for them.

Nina,
An electronic resource certainly can be a way to store the information. Most prospective students like to "see it in writing!"

You're right, Nathan. There is a lot of information to keep at hand. That makes for a heavy resource book. I wonder if we could create an electronic book...

Cheree,
Thank you for the feedback and best to you in your endeavors.

Georgia,
Having the admissions training and reviewing the state regulations will certainly help you in your operation of your school. Best of luck!

Nina,
You could also add the accrediting agency's requirements.

Nathan,
There is much information to be knowledgeable about. Having the resource notebook keeps your reference information right at hand.

I have been a licensed agent in the state of Florida for the past 4 years. I believe the requirements are necessary and I enjoyed this course.

I feel confident that the training provided will help with our school.

Agents have a lot of information to keep at their finger tips. They need to not only stay current on their institution's policies and procedures, but also their state's laws and rules.

The 2 main things that stick out to me are the breadth of regulations which govern the agent's relationship with prospective students, as well as the amount of information which must be kept up-to-date in my notebook, in order to remain as knowledgeable and effective as possible.

Carla,
There are many similarities between agencies. Learning about the education side of consumer protection is important. Good luck!

I have always been very aware of the requirements. I spent 10 years previously as an insurance agent in Florida. There are many similar rules and guidelines. It's a big responsibility! I'm glad to be a part of it!

I quite agree and our students have been seeking a more social "early retirement" and being able to teach dance to have fun as well as earn money.

Karen,
The prospective student is more knowledgeable today thus requiring agents or any representative of your institution to be fully prepared to answer any questions.

Essence,
Compliance is the number one priority!
