Dear Michael, we are glad to have your feedback. Congratulation to you!

The agent's requirememnts have taken on a greater meaning to me as I understand much better the scope of the agent's work. I think that it is vital to stay abrest of the regulations and mindful of what we say in the marketplace. I think our actions have a double effect as the school is affected, as well as, the agent if bad decisions are made. I feel good about learning the various aspects of the agent's work, and how to prepare for presentations and interviews. The course is quite thorough!

I feel that the agent has a very important job and needs to stay up to date with not only the institute's changes, but with regulation changes. It's not easy but if you are organized you can be productive and proactive.

Annette, thank you for the feedback. We appreciate the positive statement! Good luck!

This course is very helpful and has given me the tools to be a productive agent. It was a challenging experience. Certainly, I feel confident that I will be a more valuable asset to my Institution after I finished this course.

my thoughts and feeling about the agents requirement is that the agent's role is very important in guiding the prospective student and educating them about the institutions they decided upon

Kevin, it is important to be organized as it also is representative of you and your organization.

I think the requirements are necessary for success. In order for one to be the best one has to be constantly caught up with all regulatory updates needed to do the job. In order to achieve full efficiency, proper organization must be achieved.

this has been very informative and i have learned a few things that will ultimately benefit me during admission interview.

Some of the information was pretty basic. The regulatory requirements were surprising. I've worked as a college recruiter before (athletic) and spent most of my time on the road. This is a similar position so, first time I was made away that I needed to be licensed. The course makes it clear that our role as a agent can make a huge impact on students decision to attend the school. The section on learing as much as you can about the institution was a great help. I don't believe there is a tremendous amout of information to learn, just some key issues. I enjoyed going through the class.

Itis more than just a sales job. we have allot of responsibilities that allow us to interact and be knowledgable many different departments.

If you would have asked me this question almost 6 years ago; I would have felt a bit overwhelmed with the requirements. However, nowadays I can honestly say I am comfortable with all the requirements and feel confident to admit that I have learned alot throughout the years. I am glad to see that not much has changed but that rules and regulations remain enforced for the greater good.

I feel that it is crucial for the agent to be involved and proactive in the student's enrollment and progress in the institution. Knowing and educating oneself is the best way to do this in the state of Florida.

Agents need to know a lot! They have to be on top of everything to make sure that the institution is in compliance.

It is apparent the Agent has many responsibilities however taking a course like this early on would be beneficial in starting on the right track. The Resource Notebook is valuable and essential in the Agents training.

Being an admission representative or an agent is an extremely difficult position. Many individuals outside of the educational community believe that it is a "sales" job, when it is not. For the job you need to be highly knowledgable about a number of difficult topics, including regulations (at state, regulatory body and accrediating body levels), internal policies, educational components, etc. It is not about selling, but about informing the consumer (applicant) about your program and identifying whether the program is a proper fit for both parties. The fair consumer policies must be strictly followed!

It was very informative and I waill apply everything that I learned to the program that I direct.

The Agent has a huge responsibility. They are requird to be familiar with every department of the College. It seems like it is important for the Agent to refer to those experts before giving to many details, as regulations change so frequently within each department.

A good deal of these regulations do not actually apply to me, as I am not an Agent. However, most of it is nevertheless good, common sense practice. I found it a very good review, and I am inplementing some of these things at our school, because they just make sense!
Good course- thanks very much!

I have been in the industry for 5 years, so though this is godd information and solid review, very little is new to me.
