Bernarda,
Meetings are an excellent opportunity to learn and share knowledge.

We conduct monthly staff meetings. We adress marketing, admissions policies, placement and we update informations to improve our performance.

I attend any and all meetings I can. Weather it is a meeting that my company is holding or meetings held by CIE. Yes some info is repetative but I always walk away from a meeting with at least one new idea or bit of knowlege.

I attend to webinars and purchase several magazines regarding jewelry business to gain more knowledge.

Jeanne,
Meetings are a great way to learn and share information.

I attend admissions meeting two or 3 times a week with my DOA. We discuss admission poliies, changes in FA poliies, and upcooming regulatory requirements We have an all staff meeting third wednesday of the month.

Our company holds weekly conference calls, and quarterly webinars to discuss regulatory issues including admissions policies and procedures.

These are quite beneficial, as we gain new insight into changing rules and/or regulations that could possibly effect our company, staff or students as a whole.

Regulatory issues at the State level are also important as they too can change without notice. Our staff is committed to share this information so we as managers have a complete understanding of the policies and how we are expected to impliment them accordingly.

Theses are resources that I will have to look into, they seem as though they will be a big help to me. Are these admissions resources only? and if not where are there more information for admission reps?

Other than the CE's I really do not have any other resource that I know of, If you have any suggestions of avenues that I can follow to learn more about admissions I would love to hear about them.

it is good to attend meetings just in case any new policies and procedures com about

I will attend all department meetings, campus meetings, training seminars, territory and regional meetings, faculty meetings, along with meetings to plan events such as graduation, orientation and open house. These meetings may be held in person or by conference call and webinar.
