It is important to stay up to date on all rules and regulations so you know that you are serving students the best we can

Staying up to date with the board of education is always helpful.

Elizabeth,

Excellent! Having a reference such as you describe will be a huge asset. The daily announcements is a great idea!

Patty Aronoff

We have a member of our staff who maintains and updates our information binder. We hold weekly staff meetings and we maintain our meeting minutes on-line. We do refer back to the previous meetings' minutes to ensure that any new information from that meeting is clear. We have also created an on-line Daily Announcements file that is in month order that allows the staff to post anything that we would all need to know about. We do email this type of information, but now we have one place for quick reference for updated information. It's been very helpful!

maytu,

A resource finder is a great tool to have. By combining all the necessary resources for compliance, it brings everything together at your fingertips.

lisandra,
Excellent! Continue to keep yourself current in the rules and regulations of the state of Florida. The CIE website is a great place to start and then check out their bimonthly meetings through a webcast.

I read the rules and regulations and continue to attend the meetings

I'll read the CIE rules and regulations and continue to attend the meetings to keep abreast of rule changes and additions. i'll also start building a binder to keep better organized.

Perez Ortiz,

However we maintain our documentation, the important factor is that we have a process and means to obtain that information. Some schools prefer to have all information electronically where others prefer hardcopy. Many try a mix of both.

Patty Aronoff

Gisela,

That's a great idea! We need to build our knowledge base by reviewing such information on a regular basis. Thank you for bringing it to the form.

Patty Aronoff

I understand that all admissions officer or cordinador should keep in workshops and getting more growth in the area in order to provide better and better service. As for the documentation and official documents, create intelligent digital documents or through a database to record and also have a file folder of printed documents.

Our plan for the collection of information is keep in a folder available to answer responses. we benefit through these courses and others.

Jim,

Jenny,

The website provides schools information regarding regulations in Florida. It is good practice to visit the website to see what's new.

Chelsea,

A suggestion would be to once a year have everybody bring their resource notebooks and see what's inside. This is a great opportunity to make sure that everybody's is up to date and see what other opportunities are for additions.

Patty Aronoff

Johjan,
