I am organizing each section as it was presented. I also am including examples of completed admissions forms, etc. It always helps me to see examples of documents.

I have a binder that has all the rules and regulations in it as well as the policies and procedures. In the front of the binder, i have a checklist to make sure i complete all the tasks neccessary in the admissions process.

I would organize all of my paper work in a binder. There would be sections for each topic. The main tab will have all the updated policies and procedures. By keeping everything in one stop you will never lose anything and can stay current more effectively. I also agree with sitting in on FA interviews. This way people will understand the big picture rather then just the section they are in.

I placed all documents in a large 3 ring binder with tabs to distinguish different topics and areas.

It's obviously a ton of paperwork, and in my opinion, the best way to organize all of it is to print it out and have hard copies. I have a whole notebook that I use to help myself stay organized and up-to-date on new protocol.

I put a large binder in place and will update it as state guidelines change.

Having a large binder is really helpful to have everything at your fingertips

I agree that it is important to at least have some understanding of each part of the enrollment process. So far, I have sat in with with my FA Rep in addition to many Admissions interviews and a few enrollments. I also plan on meeting with Career Development Services and maybe even sitting in on a class for a little while, just to get the full experience.

One can create a binder to organize all literature and documentation regarding the admissions process. Continually add to your binder as you will need to update pertinent information relative to each subject in your binder.

I think it is a good idea to organize the paperwork in a binder with separate sections for each college and program, there should also be a section for financial aid, and all information that each student must receive regardless of their program. I think it is a good idea to pull from this binder prior to meeting with a student so that you are able to have all information pertinent to that student ready before they arrive. In order to stay in compliance with state guidelines, I think that it is imperative to stay organized. There is a lot of information that we are required to share with students, and if we are not organized and diligent in that it can be easy to forget something that is important.

This is a great idea! I think it is crucial for each employee to see and hear how each department functions and compares to what you are telling the prospective student. I would love to see and hear what our financial aid dept. does with our prospective students! Thanks for the tip!

Admissions and Financial Aid have a great relationship at the college I am employed by. We often sit in on each others appointments and meet at least once a month to share any updates in our field.

My school actually has folders that we have at our desks so we can use them as needed. It is a good organized system.

This is what I use also. It makes it so much easier for me because everything is in one place so I know where to access everything when I'm busy...which is all the time!

I organized all my paperwork for easy access when a question might arise.

My company maintains an internal website that provides all the information related to the admissions process. I find this method of organization much more effective than having printed pages because:
a) It is quick and easy to locate the necessary information;
b) The resource can be instantly updated whenever new information becomes available;
c) Electronic records are more environmentally friendly than physical paper copies.

The importance of face to face communication with the Financial Services, Business Registra, Career Services and Academic Departments are essential. This collaboration and coordination of information helps with retention, grauation and placment rates, but most importantly with the student being successful throughout the student's life cycle.

I have also compiled a binder full of these rules and regulations with detailed examples of what is the correct way to go about the admissions process.

I also have a binder with all the state guidelines in my desk at all times. I also sit on the enrollment process with a more experienced representative to see what paperwork is necessary from my end as a representative. I like to make sure and have everything organized to make the job easier for all departments.

I am putting all papers in a huge binder.
