I rate my knowledge very high. We have training at least once per week that involve program training. It is definitely helpful to have a catalog handy when I need it though.
We take continued education pretty seriously here, I helped implement a degree specialist program to place admission officers in a position to be experts and a source of information when one doesn't know an answer. This has helped admission officers take ownership of a degree and has pushed us all to become more educated.
I think that there is no better way to help a student than to understand the school that you are calling from. Knowledge really does help everyone progress in the best way. If you do not know enough info about the college it can cause amy distructive events to happen.
I would rate it as about 9. There is always more to learn and the landscape changes as time goes on
I rate my knowledge pretty high. I feel I have a really good understanding for the material needed to make me a great admissions representative. I also feel my DOA an executive director do a good job making sure i'm follow compliance and school proceedure.
After being here for almost 5 years, I have watched my program evolve and watched and helped other instructors make their programs move relevent and directed to meed the needs of our clinets.
As a brand new employee (only 2 weeks in) I feel pretty confident that I can deliver the information and answer questions. If I don't know the answer I have very qualified individuals on staff to help. We also have ongoing trainings to keep up to date. One being tomorrow morning on finanical aid with our entire staff.
Very high. Our college has regular staff and departmental meetings to keep us up to date and informed
I also rate my knowledge very high. I've put in 6 plus years of service with my organization and luckly for me my organization is one of the industry leaders in education. I am lucky to be in the position to receive updates and changes before they may be roled out through out the company!
I rate my knowledge about my instition extremely high. Through the use of various materials and websites, my supervisor makes it a priority that all reps are very knowledgeable.
I feel very comfortable with my knowledge of my current institution. Although regulations and internal processes are alway changing, I feel that we do a very good job of training and passing on the information. I may not always have
the immediate answer, but I have the resources to obtain the correct information in a timely manner.
I'd rate my knowledge to be somewhat high. I still have not sat in on a class. I would like to still go and greet all of the professors that work here. I have met a few but nothing to shake a stick at.
I feel I am very knowledgeable about my school and the various programs we offer through the initial training I received and the continuing training as I have been employed
I feel my personal knowledge is very good for my University. I have taken classes and been involved in the admissions office for over a year.
I have been with my institution for 4 years now, so I know a lot about how things work. I think this course was helpful in giving me a knowledge base regarding why we do things the way we do. I can see the reasoning behind how the enrollment form is organized, why the catalog has certain information, etc.
I feel very knowledgable about the school I represent. We have "Product Knowledge" training each year where all admissions representatives learn about each program offered. The training is conducted by the department heads of each program. It gives everyone a chance to learn new information as well as refresh on prior knowledge.
I feel I am very knowledgeable about my school and the programs and services provided. A large part of our rep training is understanding and knowing about all aspects of the school and what is available to students. It is also important for compliance reasons to know the limitations of such services in order to give the student a realistic expectation of what is available. Such information is typically covered during a campus tour for a prospective student and knowing what is stated in the school's catalog is vital for building confidence and credibility.
I'm a new hire so I'm still learning but everyday I feel more confident as I study the materials, interact with colleagues, and work with my DOA. I am on a great path for success with my institution.
I would rate my knowledge very high. I have worked for my institution for 3 years now and work very closely with all the faculty and instructors at all the campuses I visit. I attend two in-service days twice a year to keep up on all the changes.
Very well. we are extremely involved with licensing and state regs.
