It is great to hear that your program directors are involved in the process. What documents do your program directors have input into?

Our admissions department has a standardized packet that each prospective student is given. The admissions representative reviews the documents with the prospective students and obtains signatures on necessary acknowledgements.

Admissions handles the discolsures

All students are to receive updated required disclosures during their intitial interview and during their enrollment process.

We make sure that the students or even prosp[ective students have the school catalog and addendum

The school makes sure that all addmissions representatives not only disclose the information verbally, but also provide the information in writing. They will also provide the student with links so that they can see exactly how the information was obtained.

I agree we are doing just that such thing on our campus.

I really enjoyed the lenght of the course- It had many important topics for creating awareness and direction in terms on compliance and regulation.
Important is our ever changing world.

The Admission department informs prospective students about the courses.
The Financial department provides the prospective student the financial information they require.
The Education department will provide prospective student an overall idea of the course content if required by the student.
All disclosures by all departments are based on our school catalog which has the official information and numbers for our school,so prospective students sign forms with the disclosures

Our admissions representative review and provide the disclosures from our student catalog to our students and prospective students.

It is my understanding that full disclosure is handled in the Admissions Department. Prospective students are provided information in writing, it is gone over in detail with strict guidelines on what can and can not be stated and the students sign forms indicating they have received the information. I understand that Admission representatives that do not comply with full disclosure or make false statements will be subject to disciplinary action up to an including termination.

We will also be placing all required information on the school website listed by program. This information will be in a public domain and will not be restricted to students that have come in to speak with an Admissions Representative. In this way, students can make more informed decisions about their education.

If any staff member is asked a question about anything that falls under disclosure, they are immediately referred back to the Admissions Department for an answer.

It is imporatnt to manage disclosures, not only to maintain a good reputation for the school, but also the individual programs and for the individual PD's of those programs as well.

As part of initial, and on-going training, our admission reps are instructed on how to divulge and document any, and all, local, state and federal regulations as required. This information is then reviewed by the respective program director and student.

This is handled by the admissions department, and included in their standardized training. Our institution has very prescribed ways things are discussed. The information is printed, given to students, and they sign they have received the information.

The admissions department has cheat sheets that assist them over the phone. In the interest of full disclosure, my understanding is we plan to post placement rates, cost, etc. on the website.

There are multiply contacts through out the campus a prospective student will make. From the initial contact (whether it be with the receptionist or on line) through graduation, there are safety nets set up to make sure every student has the proper information disclosed and the process is as transparent as possible.

On our campus, for our program we do individual interviews before a student starts and we have a check list of specific items that are clarified with the prospective student (we realize the admissions process can be overwhelming, so we use this additional visit to give the prospective student time to synthesize all the information and clarify any questions they might have - if we don't know the answer we contact the appropriate department and have them speak directly with the student). Upon starting we again have a check list we cover with the student to make sure there are no "stones left unturned" and this process is continued on with each new term start and then upon completion/graduation of the program.

So true Racquel, at this time the students usually have the opporunity to ask as many questions they can regarding the program. Some will while others have nothing to ask. Most cases these are the same students who said they were not aware of the requirements for graduation, certification or accreditation.

Actually support from the PDs is one area, while I believe all managers from all areas should know the accurate disclosures, especially Deans and Associate Deans.

Our institution requires all enrolled applicants to sign disclosures which include all the required information in the application packet.

We utilize the giving of the catalog, the signing and giving copies of several disclosures such as salary, placement, and completion statistics. Our organization has a ready made collection of materials for all departments to give students.
