Concorde Career College has an Operations Training Manual that is enforced by the campus local administration and double checked for compliance and accuracy by the home office to ensure that students and prospective students receive the required disclosures.

Concorde College Steps
1. The Admission representative is instructed to provide current disclosures to the student
2. The Director of Admission or designee double checks the student's folder to ensure that all current disclosures have been given to the student
3. The Campus President goes over the paperwork with the Director of Admission to ensure that all required disclosures where given to the students
4. The final step is that the Registar goes over the file to ensure accuracy and compliance that all current required disclosures has been given and has been signed by the student and the original/copy is in the students permenant file

As part of our admissions process, students are provided with the appropriate documentation.

A check list/script and a series of papers that the potential student signs and is kept here and the prospective student also gets a copy. These activities are handled by the admissions department and the financial aid department.

As the Director of Student Services, I seldom have direct contact as pertains to potential students and their admissions documents. However, I am aware that admissions includes the disclosures in their admissions packets and I provide the documented disclosures in the re-entry packet as a portion of their admissions paperwork for re-entry. We, the potential re-entry student and I, review the disclosures prior to the re-entry student signing them. --Alytrice

Each department handles the disclosures pertaining to their department. In Admissions, it starts from the initial call to the interview to enrollment. We have disclosures in the school catalog, enrollment paperwork and the addendum that we give to students.

Checklists. There are also several people that review these documents and the final approval is determined by administrator other than admissions.

The admissions department gives this information to potential students. The campus follows the catalog and stays true to our core values. Our admissions department also does training with all of the program directors so they receive all the accurate information they will need to give to students.

All departments have file check lists that include all the required disclosures and acknowledgements. This information is then entered into the school administration system.

An admission's checklist is used, along with a specific packet, by program, is produced.

As an Academic Records Coordinator, I keep track of each individual student’s file with all the documentation that they have signed. In the event that a student may need to refer back to a certain disclosure or policy, their file is easily accessible.

Starting a new educational program has allowed me to provide Admission Reps., the DOA and Administration with information required by our program Accrediting agency to disclose to the student. This program information is provided to the students verbally by the Admissions Reps. and PD, written handous and a student handbook that includes institution disclosures.

This is handled by the admissions department at our school. Prospective students are given these disclosures verbally and in written form by the admissions reps. The prospective students then sign the disclosure forms.

Student and prospective student are given disclosures when meeting with their Admissions Repersentative.

With privacy acts in place to protect the consumer we must always be very appropriate with Consumer Disclosures.

Upon enrollment or re-enrollment, students are given a new catalog as well as any amendments or updates to any disclosures.

How should we best manage consumer disclosures?

My Institution is providing prospective studens with The a List of occupations by programs, on time graduation rate for students completing the program,the placement rate for student completing the program,the typical amount charged and also the typical debt load of student graduating from each program.

Denise - it's good to note the importance of updating packets. I have often seen schools try to be prepared by having inventory of packets but they fail to update them with current info, catalog addenda, etc. Thanks for pointing this out.
