Learned a Lot of Good Info, but Most of It will never be used

Hi all! This course contained a lot of information that I was not privy to. After completing the couse, I feel well informed about federal and state regulations and guidelines, as well as certain policies and requirements and no-nos that I was unaware of. However, as an English Instructor, I didn't completely understand why I had to take such an in-depth course. The information that I learned seemed geared towared the administration department and the financial aid department. I felt that a mandatory faculty meeting that covered these points would have sufficed. Yet and still, it was a lot of… >>>

Useful Information

The things I've learned in this class will help me guide the students in the right direction if questions are asked of me. I now understand the FERPA laws a little better. this class was indeed extremely knowledgeable.

CM305

This course was a great refreasher for me.   Having been in the industry for a couple of years now it is always good to revisit what we need to do to stay compliant with requlations.   One of the reasones I love my job is I get to help people on a daily basis.  This course helps me ensure that I am doing it right and not leading any prospective students down the wrong path.

MaxKnowledge Course

I learned alot during this course that will help me in the future of my career at Delta! I feel more informed now that i have taken this course.

Compliance Training

I learned a lot throughout this training and gained a ton of knowledge, expecially since I am new to the industry. I appreciated the feedback after each quiz and the questions and scenarios in between some subjects. I surprised myself and made a 92% on the final! Once I read a question I automatically selected the answer which tells me that I really retained the information that I read. The only disadvantage I had was being new to the industry. The only challenge I had was being able to focus in the environment I was given to take my compliance, which was busy and loud every now and then and… >>>

CM 102 Training

This training was very well organized and in depth. I gained new perspective on a number of concepts I though I knew all about. Most importantly, I was able to complete the training on my own schedule. Excellent!

Max Knowledge/CM 102

This was a very thorough course and it went into great detail about the subject matter.  I also appreciated the fact that I could complete it on my own time and at my own pace.  The additional links and resources allowed me to explore, not only what regulations and guidelines that I have to comply with in my state, but in others as well.  Also, enjoyed the forums.  This information is something that I will definitely use and refer back to when necessary.

CM-102 training

I felt that this course was both interesting and necessary to be able to carry out my responsibilities to the institution as well as the student. Beyond basic ethics, this course outlines state and federal regulations and compliance factors relevant to both law and credibility. In addition, this course highlights internal affairs and compliance for those working within the organization and accountability of the organization itself.

CM-102

I found this course to be very helpful. There really is  alot of information. I felt like this was an action packed course that really opens your eyes to the legalities of everything. I almost wonder if it would be more beneficial to seperate the course into two sections maybe so that way its not all piled in at once. Other than that I really enjoyed learning what I did.

Informational & Effective

The MaxKnowlegde compliance training was very informative and effective. I learned more about our school and regulations in these past 4 hours than I have in my 1.5 years with the company. I believe every associate should complete this course, not just Admissions and Financial Aid. It is important for all associates to understand these rules and regulations as our basis for providing accurate, factual information to our consumers. I highly recommend the format of the training, as well. It was easy to follow, the quizzes helped reinforced the objectives of each module, and the forums added over perspectives to… >>>

Very Informative

This course was very interesting.  Very glad to have the opportunity to participate in this learning experience.  It would be great if all faculty would complete this course.

Good Information

A lot of usable  information was welcomed by me. I would reccommend

Informative

I learned a lot from this couse about regulations.  I hope to use this in the future.

It will be important to find ways (routine refresher courses) to keep these issues in the forefront during day to day operations of our campus.

New to Admissions and Education

I am new to the Admissions and Education field. I found this course to be very stimulating and eye-opening. I am not sure that I was trained on CAN-SPAM nor Do Not Call lists in prior jobs where I was a customer service representative and also worked in the staffing industry, providing emails to customers for advertisement and making phone calls! I am glad to know this information and will be able to utilize it in my daily job as an Admissions Representative!

Great Information

My previous career had nothing to do with teaching so much of this is very new to me.  These courses are extremely informative.  I am a lot more comfortable on campus doing what I do now.  I can't wait to take more courses!!!

CM305 is very beneficial for all admissions representatives for any college!

Hello Everyone,

I have just completed the CM305 class that is part of the OACCS agent permit training and I found it to be very beneficial in helping me be a proficient college admissions representative. Ethics, compliance, financial services, state laws, Title IV regulations, campus safety and other components are all adequately covered to ensure all representatives taking the training leave the training enlightened with pertinent information to their careers in helping potential students make the best choice on education for themselves.

Some of the areas that I was weak in were financial services direct related questions dealing with… >>>

Insightful

After completing the Max Knowledge course, I learned how various administrative tasks could benefit me as an instructor as well. Many federal and state laws I was already familiar with. However, I found the teacher tools helpful as well as "incentive" guidelines. It's certainly always good to brush up on federal and state guidelines.

What I learned most importantly is that I should become more familiar with the schools methods of disclosures and what students are being told. Regardless of what they are being told, I am an instructor and I'm not exactly sure when it would be appropriate to… >>>

"Doing The Right Thing"

After completion of the Max Knowledge program, "Doing The Right Thing", I must say that I was extremely impressed with the material.  I took a lot of great information from it.  Some was a refresher but other information I was not aware of.  Knowing this information will allow me to better service the students, the school, and the industry as a whole.

Thank you!

Max Knowledge

Max Knowledge was helpful.
The material was a little dry but it had an important role in training
and understanding the importance of compliance.
All in all it was a good thing to do.
