Just finished ED 104

I have to say that this forum ED 104 was the most informative and most pertinent to my learning experience. So many of the examples applied directly to things I come across everyday in my classrooms. It seems that teaching adults has a whole different set of things to consider.

I found several topics and answers that are going to be used in my classes now.

ED101 was a Great booster shot!

Greetings!

Just finished with ED101 and found it to be a great review of what I learned in my masters in teaching and learning.  We can always get a refresher from Max Knowledge!

I thought it was very interesting. Some of the information I already knew like the 4 types of learners & not using negatives when writing a multiple choice test.  I like the video's from the Business professors @ Harvard.  I learned some new things especially about questions.  It was a good course.  I really like the online ability - as it saves time.

Helpful and interesting.  Also found it fun to watch the body language in the videos.  Some of the presenters really sink with their topic as they presented.  Others were opposits.  One used very agressive body language why talking about making students feel welcome.  A lesson in a lesson.

FINISHED!

I really found this helpful

Finished ED-106

I enjoyed learning about different student needs and how to pay attention and engage the learning disability students. Thank you for the course.

I enjoyed this class!! It helped me realize that I’m not off with my teaching styles…

I was really interested to read about the use of color and peripheral learning in this course. I am working on my BS in psychology and this integrated very well with my current curriculum.

I brought up to my supervisor at work that we may want to use soothing music for the stressful testing times and he said that he knows about the effects but that we can't clog up the band width on our work computers !  So I am going to see about just bringing some kind of radio to class to see if it can help.

Very informative and definitely relevant to my classroom setting.

Confirmed strategies that I already use and gave me good ideas for implementing new ones.

Learned a lot but would have liked more about how to engage students that are kinesthetic learners in topics that don't allow for easy application of kinesthetic learning methods.  On a budget in particular since a microscope for each student as well as professionally prepped slides is not an option.

Very informative!!

Just Comleted ED101

This course was extremely beneficially to me.  It made me realize that although I thought I was a good instructor there is so much more I could be doing to be a much better one.  I will definitely apply what I have learned from this course to my classroom.  Every new instructor should take this course before teaching.  It would be the best thing they ever did.

I have just completed ED106 Enhancing Student Learning.  I can't wait to try some of the suggestions from this forum.  Being a new instructor at this level, I am always looking for ways to help me connect with my students and help them become successful individuals.

Helping Learning Challenged Students

ED106 was a good cl=ourse.  I actually was engaged more than usual with it.  I was most interested in the things that were said about helping learning challenged students.  I found a few things that I will actually be able to use in my classes.

104 and 105

Just finished 104 and 105. It was interesting.

Just finished course 102 and just like 101, I thoughly enjoyed it

EL104

I haven't yet started to teach online.  However, this course seems to be a good introductory overview of where an online instructor should focus.  Good tips on what is most important in online teaching.  I hope this overview will be beneficial when I start online teaching.

ED 104

A common sense course with real life application.  It will be helpful to me going forward.

ED 101

I learned the 3 M's--Being a model, manager and motivator.  I think that we do not realize as teacher that we are doing the M's but we are doing them without realizing it.

Great course! by Dennis Wright

I really enjoyed this course. It reinforced things I knew and gave me a fresh perspective. It was not 'busy work" like some cont. ed. I have taken.
